Good morning and Happy Hump day to everyone!

In the dictionary one definition for waltz is..something that can be accomplished effortlessly .A friend was telling me about having lunch with another friend, they had a bowl of chips and a bowl of salsa between them. The salsa had been placed at an angle too far away for either to reach easily. They left it like that for some time til finally one put it closer to them. They laughed at how hard they had made it for themselves and the other woman said ...." do you think we do that with other things in life, make it harder than it has to be??" I know I do with

Good Morning,

Enjoy your day off Patty! And I would love to come by and hang out. A cookout at Mom's-what time? How is your mom feeling?

Gray skies are with us this morning. It's much cooler and less humid than the past few days and they do say that the sun should be coming to visit this afternoon.

I ended up going to bed much later than my norm. DH seems to have his TV louder and louder each evening. Most nights I can disregard it but last night was a challenge. I really wish he would go back and have his hearing checked again. They did find some hearing loss the last time he was having a problem with his ears. He has tinnitis (sp?) and I believe he;s probably paying the price of 4 years of working around jet engines even with ear protection . Around the same time DS came in from a Mets game and then we got into conversation about his cousin and the fact that a beer at the stadium is $8.50.

Thanks to Otto I actually was up for a workout this morning. He had to go out at the same time my alarm went off. I was tempted to go back to bed but decided since I was up anyway that I would head off to the basement. I did my 4 mile walking tape and I'm glad that I accomplished a workout but in spite of it I still feel like I'm dragging this morning.

I'm so far behind around here this week. Otto and I have been getting in late from our walks and I really don't feel like doing much after we get home. Once I sit down that is usually it for me. I'm getting that overwhelmed kind of feeling and it sure doesn't help that the dang box is STILL sitting there. DH keeps commenting on it but neither removes it or asks DS to move it and I'm NOT moving it. I've now added on another box in the living room and one in the hall-what they're for-not a clue and a pair of DH's jeans sitting on the chair in the living room-again-no clue. Numerous other things sitting around here and I just don't understand. We're all adults living here and I just don't know how they can continue to walk by and ignore. It aggravates me! The fact that I'm feeling very tired this morning is not helping at all. I know I also have to go back and battle the car dealership where DS bought his first truck. He bought an extended service contract and when he traded the truck in he was supposed to get a portion of that money back. Since I was first named on the deal the money is supposed to come back to me so I can give him his money back. That was 6 weeks ago when I filled out the paperwork. I'm getting two different answers from the underwriters of the policy and the dealership. The guy was supposed to get back to me the Tuesday after Memorial Day and I'm still waiting. I'm assuming that they don't want either one of us back as a customer or to refer someone to them. This is not a small sum of money either and ignoring me is certainly not going to make me go away. I'm been very patient but now they might find they have a giant pest on their hands.

Ok-I think I've ranted and raved enough for one morning. Time to go find the top of the dryer and remove the dried laundry before the next load is done.

CL-Deb-Congratulations of the weight loss! Hope Rob has a great time at the prom. When is his prom?

Karen-your photos of your bathroom brought back vivid memories of our bathroom redo 2 years ago. We have a bathroom window inside the shower in the upstairs window. Personally I'm not a fan of the window inside the shower area. Just seems like there is always some type of gunk that builds up around it and on it.

Rhonda-glad to hear that your appointment went well and there were no comments to have to deal with.

Margie-continued success!

Donna-so glad that your doctor's appointment went well.

Definitely having focus issues this morning. But each and everyone of you are in my daily thoughts.

Hope everyone enjoys a wonderful Wednesday!

Good message Patty, thanks again! Have some fun? Well if you count paying your bills and balancing your check book at 7:00 am then I am living the life! Just finished that wonderful chore, I have already grabbed my shower and had my scrambled eggs (Margie you talk about limiting choices, I feel like I eat the same thing, day in, day out), and now I will head upstairs to make my bed, dry my hair and get dressed for work. Work today will be an all day affair but I plan on getting out at lunch time. I need to return some things to Target and while I am there they carry a WW cereal I enjoy that I can not find in the grocery store. Most likely a salad with some left over chicken will be my lunch and dinner is country ribs but I think I will make that for the boys. I think more chicken for me with some brown rice would be healthier. Looks like a rainy type of day although I did not see or hear a forecast for the day. Bill is not feeling well and complained about a tight chest and left arm hurting. I told him to call the doctor next door but he won't listen. I do not know what to do about that man. He said he is unhappy with the group next door of late and might like to switch doctors. I kind of agree, they have over grown the practice and we feel like a number now. We have cars all over the street most days and its the over flow from their office. Well I better run and finish up here. Hope everyone has a good day today. Patty enjoy your day off and time with your family. Susan I can understand your families concerns about your nephew. Years ago we frowned upon living together but when people rush into a marriage the other choice does not seem so bad. Good luck with that situation.

Rob's prom is Thursday, 6/21. I need to take him for that tux......yikes! About boxes, my family just walks around things too so you are not alone. My boys were supposed to go to the Mets game last night too, courtesy of one of the title companies, lol. But went to Jones Beach Theater last night for a Fall Out Boys concert. Rob was so hyped up and excited when he got home. He had never gone to a concert before and he said he had an awsome time. I just got two tickets to next Tuesday nights Yankee game from MKM I think Billy is going with one of his friends.

Thanks, Patty! I'm amazed my mom didn't have something to say. She ALWAYS has something to say. The only thing I can figure is that she didn't notice because of the angle we were sitting.

Have fun at your cookout. Relieved to hear your mom will be clothed. ;-) Enjoy what seems to be a rare day off.

Do you have a live or artificial tree in your house that you could put in "the box" and make a design statement with it? If so, I'd do that and see if they take a hint. Or, maybe put the remote control in it!!!

I really enjoyed going with my Rob to get his tux fitted and help him pick out the style (very classic, nothing trendy) and to help pick out the corsage. I'm so glad he values my input at least on those kinds of things. Actually, he keeps having me look at rims and tires for his truck too!! Rims I can see, but a tire is pretty much a tire to me, as long as it isn't too big. LOL! Just ordered his professional graduation pix.

Savor this time!

With the symptoms Bill is having, I'd go ahead and make the call for him. Nothing to fool with. Sure hope it's just indigestion or something minor.
