Good morning everyone. Cl-Deb , I think your boss needs to give you a raise! Seems to me for a "part time" person you 1) work a lot of hours and 2) take on a lot of responsibility. I love how you handled and helped the couple.

The best years of a woman's life - the ten years between 39 and 40

I read that and thought...Hey! I only stayed here 6 yrs! I had 4 yrs left. It made me think of Nancy's post where she mentioned making her own decisions. Those are the best years! When we begin to realize we can make our own decisions and we realize we're worth the same time and effort as others.

Donna, I put a little extra effort in my workout yesterday

Good morning everyone..........looks like another beautiful day around here. It actually got chilly here last night. I had to close some windows......then Bill said maybe we should put the AC on.........who has a hole dug already? Productive day yesterday as I bored you all to death with last night, even placed my order with Peapod to have my groceries delivered Friday morning between 7:30 and 1:00. It forces me to stay home and clean for the weekend. Well I can proudly say that I was up at 5:00 (wink, wink), dressed in my sweat pants at 6:00 and I did my 2 mile WATP DVD. I just pushed Bill and Katie out the door, finished my oatmeal and applesauce (Bill told me I was eating cardboard with cinnamon) and I have folded a batch of laundry already. Heading upstairs in a minute to make my bed, lay out my clothes and wait for my turn in the shower. Yesterday at work we talked about walking during lunch time so I will bring my sneakers just in case anyone else remembers. I plan to only work until 2:00 today since I stayed until 5:30 yesterday and I want to meet Katie at 3:00 so we can head out to see and ride Daniel today. Not sure what the dinner fairy has in store. I heard someone here mention salmon the other day and I was thinking that might be a nice change. I can have the brown rice with it since I did potatoes yesterday. I guess I should get moving and into the shower now. Just note on two things, I just got a raise from my boss but I think in the fall I will hit him with another. Unfortunately the business is slow yet my desk is booming, go figure and I never realized I was entitle to 10 free years........can I go back and get them now?

Good Morning,

It's a picture perfect weather day outside much like yesterday. A little bit on the cool side to start the day and then warming up but no humidity, bright blue skies and just a few of those fluffy white clouds.

So much for going to bed a little early. DH was dial flipping between the hockey game and CSI and some other channel and with each change of the channel came a new volume to the TV. Then a little after 10, as 22 year olds do DS was headed out the door. It wouldn't be such a problem other than it sounded like a herd of elephants coming up and down the stairs at least 3 times. Then around 12 I heard him come in, he went upstairs and then in and out the door a few more times. Then it was the whole asleep awake cycle. At some point my alarm went off and at some point I turned it off. Otto finally whined me out of bed but at that point it was time to head to the shower to begin the day Kids, men and sleep issues they just drive me batty some days and it's been a batty few days. I guess you can gather that there was no workout this morning.

I'm getting these wierd cramps in the back of my leg. All of a sudden I get this intense pain and cramping in my calf and then gradually eases up. It comes and goes all day and so much to the point where I had one while I was driving and thought I was going to have to pull over. I used to get something like this when I was pregnant with DS but they would happen in the night but it was more of a cramp not the intense pain with it. I think I may have to ask my neighbor the chiropractor what he thinks.

The workday looms ahead and I would much rather be outside enjoying the sunshine but I guess I'll have to report for duty and do my time so when paycheck time arrives there will be one with my name on it.

Thankfuls

A good doctor's checkup and another good bp reading

Comfy after work clothes.

Beautiful days of sunshine (the outdoor type)

Tylenol

Morning coffee

I guess that's about it from my neck of the woods. Hope everyone has a great day!

Susan

Susan, have you tried upping your intake of calcium and magnesium to see if it will help your leg? It helps mine when I get cramps in my feet.

Rob is a night owl too. We have only one story, so there are no stairs to make noise, but he doesn't seem to be able to turn a door knob, so the doors bang shut. ;-)

You really did have an eventful night! Sounds as though the ER experience was more painful than the wound. It often is. Thank goodness it was no worse than it was. I vote for a cook, gardener, housekeeper for you too. ;-)

Tim's Rockports aren't in terrible condition, but he has an older pair that might rival Peter's Timberland's. LOL!
