The road to fulfillment is never a straight line. Learn to navigate the twists and turns, and you'll find something of value in every result.
Some believe if you walk or run at a track you should change the direction at some point. That way you work your muscles a little differently and one side doesn't get over worked.Occasionally you'll even

Hey there you morning post ties into what I believe Nancy is going through right now. We all go through it from time to time. You mentioned running in a different direction at the track and we do the same with the horse. See Dan favors one side over the other, one side is stronger and he provides a softer, smoother cantor in that one direction. His muscles are stronger and I have to tell Katie constintly to change directions or he will never get stronger on that other side. Now that I just compared some people to a horse I hope no offense is taken.
Had a horrible nights sleep but I think it is my own fault. Last night around nine I took a gentle ex-lax and my tummy was making all sorts of noises, then before I went upstairs I finished my water bottle.........causing a bathroom run around 3:00 am. I tossed and turned until 5:00 am but unlike Super Susan I choose to remain in bed until that alarm clock went off at 6:30. My mind just filled with thoughts and worry because I still do not know what Rob's future holds next week. He spoke to his English teacher (so he says) and she did not tell him to panic or fear so I am taking it as a good sign that if indeed he did blow it for this quarter and he is failing English someone would have said something........so in the meantime for my peace of mind please say a prayer to St. Jude....just in case. I got very emotional last night too as Bill and I were cleaning up the dinner dishes. See today is Rob's last official day of High School and being the sap I am Bill began talking about the day we brought him home from the hospital...oh no here I go again!
Today again will be a busy and full day and I so really wanted to blow off work but I can not do that. Today I work until 3:00 then I need to pick Katie up at the school. She has to turn in all her text books and clean out that locker. She brought two giant hefty bags......I shudder at the thought! From there it is home to change clothes, organize a bit then drive her to the barn. She has an extra lesson this week in prep for the horse show on Sunday. I will be dropping her off so I can attend my WW meeting. I will pick her up afterwards. Not sure what the dinner card is holding tonight since the boys usually head to a car show/hang out.
Katie was excited because I spoke the the woman who owns Daniel and she said we could bring him to this horse show. We might enter him in the pleasure class but I need to get more information on it this week. It would mean we use/lease a horse from her lesson barn for her main class then later on we use/show Daniel for fun in this other class. But we would have to ride him Saturday morning then Saturday night clean the horse at the other barn. Sunday morning head back to Dan's barn and bathe him, shower or clean up Katie and head to the show. I have a feeling a huge part of my weekend will be driving and filling the car with gas.
Well better dry my hair. I want to be at the office by 8:30. Hope everyone has a wonderful day today!

Hello Miss P and everyone!
Lori
Congrats to Jeff on the 2 week mark! Keeping the good thoughts for him!
Glad that things have calmed a bit at work for you!
Susan
Hugs Deb! I know the feeling all too well and I'll just say that just looking at the kid's baby pictures and school pictures which are all over the house can bring on the Kleenex!
I hope all goes well with Rob and the English dilema! I've been there and done that so know how anxious it can make you feel!
Hugs,
Susan
Good Morning,
Another excellent message Miss P! Just want to thank you for your wise words. You may never realize how much your words will come back into my mind when I need them most!
Looks like another wierd weather day here. It got very humid late yesterday afternoon and we had a thunderstorm roll on through around dinner time. It cleared up for a bit and then we had more rain overnight. DH was very grateful for Mother Nature taking care of his crops!
Another 3AM wakeup for me and did the usual toss and turn until about 5. No need for the alarm this morning since I was already awake. Trying to keep my workouts a bit easier until this spasm thing decides to head on out of here. I used one of my walk videos and that didn't seem to bother me too much.
Nothing much else on the agenda today. We had another melt down from Miss Sunshine yesterday. It all got tied into the last meltdown. Apparently she was in some deep dodo which was work related-but the tears start then and this time it was all related to her DH. Just seems like when she makes big time mistakes either the yelling at one of us starts or the tears starts about some huge emotional issue going on in her life. Some how the mistakes are never her own-always because of someone else!
Barring any thunderstorms or monsoon like rains Otto and I will head out after dinner. I'm hoping that I don't have another evening like last night where I felt like I should be in bed by 7PM. I was dragging myself around last night.
Kat-congratulations on that missing 7lbs! Great job!
Shar-love the pictures of the fort! Good luck with the prep for the show!
Well the hour is growing late and need to finish getting ready for work. Hope everyone has a great day!
