Good Morning,

It's a absolutely beautiful day here. Warm temperatures, nice breeze blowing and no humidity-my kind of summer day!

I'm not sure about the cartwheel aspect of your pictures Miss P but I will certainly take the hammock on the sandy beach!

Being that the weather was as beautiful as it is I took full advantage and headed out for my Saturday morning walk through the neighborhood streets. I have to replace my pedometer but I'm sure that I walked at least 3 miles maybe a bit more. I came in and DD took one look and told me I looked disgusting and smelled about the same-now is that anyway to talk to your mother :)! Hopped right into the shower and came out feeling energized and refreshed. And although I didn't like that message in the mail yesterday I'm still happy that my "good" cholesterol number is the number that it is and liking the scale this morning. DD even told me that my shorts looked a little big on me this morning. Maybe changing up the workouts a bit have made a difference!

I'm having a little bit of a late start to the morning. DH headed over the lumber yard this morning to pick up a piece of lattice for the back of the yard. He's now obsessing that the one piece isn't going to match the other piece. He keeps thinking it's going to bother me but obviously it's bothering him. I told him to call the lumberyard to see if they have the lattice with the bigger holes but he says he doesn't want to drive back and forth and the cycle begins again! Definite OCD issues present this morning.

I have a long list of things to accomplish today. Not sure whether I'll get them all accomplished. Pet store for a restocking of dog food-Otto's container is almost empty and we know how he'll feel about an empty container. I want to get some mulch to finish off my little section of dirt in the back. That's the area where I didn't think my plants would survive and they are thriving. The area needs to be weeded and the front yard needs to be weeded as well. I also have to pick up my prescription.

We had another Sunshine episode at work yesterday. I missed whatever sparked this one but I do know that the bookeeper (who is also the wife of my boss) told her not once, not twice but three times to start acting in a professional manner and without any other tactful way of putting it told her to shut up. This was while a closing was going on in our conference room and one of the attorneys with a client and a waiting room full of people. Of course she did the usual storming out of the office told my coworker too bad if you want to go to lunch at 12, came back and did the usual storming in and slamming of the bosses door to tell her version of how she was being "mistreated". But the bookeeper was right behind her with the more accurate version. She was very quiet the rest of the afternoon! I know she's having some personal issues on the homefront but I'm really beginning to think that she's not quite all there in the head.

Anyway, I found a piece of salmon in the freezer and I'm going to put that on the grill . I also have some zucchini and find something to do with that for tonight's dinner.

Nancy-great job on that jog/walk! Sounds like you have some fun activities planned for the weekend.

Kat-hope you're feeling better!

Well looking at the clock I'd better get my act together and get a move on!

Hope everyone has a splendid Saturday!

Susan

Thankfully I haven't had trouble posting... THAT kind of thing is very frustrating.

Susan, congratulations on your shorts being looser and liking the numbers on the scales.
