Good Morning,

Another beautiful day here on LI. The sun is shining the sky is blue and think it's going to be in the 90's today.

Lots of things accomplished yesterday. Maybe not the most thorough cleaning but I've decided that housework is futile and frustrating. Always something to be picked up that's in the way or put away so it was put back into a presentable manner. I got all my errand done and Otto was incredibly happy to see the 40lb bag of dog food. In fact after we got back from out walk DH had left the 2 empty bags in the yard and Otto headed head first into the empty bags to see if there were any crumbs. Pretty amusing to see 3/4 of his body inside that bag and then trying how to get back out. I weeded front and back and retrenched around my walkway bushes. I spread the red mulch around but realized I probably need about 3 more bags to finish the project. I stiff and sore since I was stooping behind the bushes in the front weeding and I had to be very careful that I didn't end standing up too fast and having a front living room window crashing into my skull. DD send DH an edible fruit basket for Father's Day-cantelope, honeydew, red grapes, pinapple, giant strawberries with a few chocolate covered strawberries and apples all in a basket looking like a floral arrangement. We sure were enjoying that last night! DS called around noon to say that they were in South Carolina. They had left at 1AM and at 8PM he called to say that they had arrived at their desination around 7.

Feeling super lazy today after a very busy day yesterday. I do have to get to the grocery store. DD will be around for a Father's Day bbq and she bought a giant black & white cookie cake for dessert. DD and DH love black and white cookies and when the kids were young we would head to the bakery on Sunday mornings for black & white cookies. My hands took a beating yesterday with all the yard work so I'll be heading to the nail salon for them a much need pampering. Not sure what other plans there may be.

Hope everyone has a simply super Sunday!
