Thank-you, Donna. :-)

This vet is a reptile specialist and very highly recommended, so that's why we trudged all the way across town to him. He's very down-to-earth and knows my ex-neighbors who were in the local herpetological society before they moved.

Very good tip Patty about making sure to drink enough water with the heat. We are getting a week of warm temps too. As far as exercise, I am teaching every day but Tues this week. So I will be getting plenty in. I am hoping to stay on track and try WW core this week with some portion control. Hoping it will work.

I have an ultra sound and dentist appointments this week too. Maybe after that I will be done with doctors for awhile except for follow up from the colonoscopy.

Taught this morning and it felt good to be back on track. The class was a step interval so I got cardio and strength taken care of in one class.

No other plans here. I am trying to finish crocheting a prayer shawl to drop off at the Church by the end of the month. I am so pathetic...I crochet in bed. Anyway, I tried 3 times to crochet the shawl with the directions the Church gave out and I hated the way it looked so I tried to knit one and didn't do much better. Anyway, I decided to make a triangle one I have done before and at least I will have to something to hand in. LOL...I feel like a school kid with getting a project in. I am kind of enjoying the crocheting especially making baby blankets. I have two started, two finished and now trying to make this darn shawl. I am really liking Michaels having those 40% off coupons too for the supplies.

Well...have a good one all.

Hope all is well...

HI, Nancy...what a nice father's day you had yesterday. Sorry about the rain and the soaking, but at least you can laugh about it. Big changes at work...hope it doesn't mean a bigger work load for you.

I am with you and that we really should think of the positives we do every day for ourselves with eating and exercise. I tend to think of the "bad" things I ate as well as the quantity sometimes, and it is so self destructive. So, to a new week of good choices and remembering all the good things we did instead of obsessing over the one bad choice.

What a great combo gift you got from the boys, Deb. It is such a nice thing to look forward to. Renting a car sounds like a good idea too.

Now about water...I have to say, Poland Spring is one of the better tasting ones. I have double filters on my fridge and it really isn't bad, but once in awhile, a bottle of Poland Spring hits the spot. Try to stay cool...

Yummm....roasted asparagus...just got hooked on them myself. Really enjoying the grilled veggies a lot too.

Sorry about the lack of sleep, but I sure do understand. I am tired of being tired and t hen find I can't sleep or get more than about 4 to 5 hours of broken sleep a night. We should start an insomniacs club.

Have a good one today...enjoy your summery dinner.
