Monday already? Another one of those weekends where I feel like I need an extra day to recuperate from the weekend.
I didn't sleep real well again last night-definitely a theme going on here but after 3 days off of exercise and a weekend where there wasn't exactly the best of eating going on it was time to get back at it. There were some miles put on the exercise bike and then picked up the weights.
DS arrived home safely yesterday morning and even brought me a present-3 bagfuls of dirty laundry-what a guy! From a kid who was afraid of rollercoasters at one point brought home a DVD of he and his friend on this ride that brings you down about 5 feet into the ground and then shoots you out about 300+ feet. They did it not just once but twice-once during the day and once at night.
Ran to the mall yesterday afternoon with DD to return my skirt and found some nice summer things on sale. Longer denim shorts for $11.99, a tshirt and 2 short sleeved blouses-buy 1 get the other for .88. One blouse is black, gray and red pinstripe and the other a really pretty teal color. Just got to love the sale racks!
Time to get moving. I'm trying to get myself organized here this morning. I am hoping for a quiet "sunshine" kind of day.
What change would you like to see this week? What goal would you like to be closer to reaching?
I KNOW I will see a change this week. I have a plan that started friday and is already working. I will be Looking at different part of the nutrition label this week than I am use to. On Atkins I only cared about the carbs...For the next 4 weeks i will be Looking at the fat. Certain things I thought didnt contain fat were shockingly full of fatEven My creamer in the morning.
Goal?? hmm Goal.. I think For this week I want to definately see 5 days of 40 Minutes exercise no matter what. As far as the scale?? I would like to slip under that 200 mark again. The stubborn Never giving up part of me is coming out again. I WANT TO BE in that 7% that reach goal and stay there I WILL BE part of that7%.
work should be busy. Boss coming back from vacation Lots of catching up to do and get ready for a deposition he has tomorrow
Hi, all. We had a good weekend; great weather. I walked my 2.1 miles on Saturday and again early this morning. We played tennis and went sailing on Saturday too. On Sunday, a short bike ride. Oh, how I love this time of year!! I made good food choices overall, but had to make a blueberry pie from scratch Friday night -- yum! Had a slice for breakfast today! Lost NO weight in past ten days; but still feeling ok. Have a GREAT week, everyone. Marianne
Hi, all...the one thing I would really like to see for me this week is actually sticking to my eating plan the whole week! Of course, a good night's sleep would be nice too. Sigh, now this lousy cough has to add to me being up at night.
Can't believe I am getting ready for another trip already. This is my "thank you" trip from DD and SinL for helping them out when DD was in the hospital and so sick at the beginning of the pregnancy. Can't believe she is in her 3rd trimester already! Things are moving along quickly for #8 grandchild.
Trying to gear up to teach and sub a lot of classes this week before going away. Also, have to get things in order for DH before I leave Saturday. Oh...I am going to Maine...never been there before. It looks like the weather is a lot cooler there near the water...hope it warms up soon.
Like your little design today Patty...glad you stepped out of the box some...lol! So far the week is off to a good start with a tough class already taught this morning. Then, Mondays are just tough anyway.
Good think DH woke you up this morning, Nancy. What a weekend you had riding. No wonder you were tired...a lot of fresh air! Must have been nice to have a weekend with no housework too!
Nice bargain shopping Susan...love those sales while you can still wear the clothes and not have to wait for next year. Hope you have a quiet day too! Glad DS got home safely, but I am sure you could have done without all the dirty clothes. Sure they are all his? LOL!
Sorry about the bad visit from Aunt Flo...glad you had some wine to make her visit a little more bearable. Visitors like that we could all do without. Nice to see you posting and I hope you get a break from the storms.
Welcome back Rhonda! I am finally back on line with my laptop and the wireless connection. SinL had it fixed in no time and something my DH did kind of messed it all up. So, we should be ok now too. Sounds like your sister made a move for the best with the job. No one needs to be aggravated like that with snit of a boss. Go you with the Zumba...you are really enjoying it! OH, enjoy your reunion.
Margie...it was a rough getting started Monday here too. I am glad I only had to teach one class. You really work yourself hard on that bicycle. Good for you! Hope you get a chance to enjoy your vacation.
Erin...I always read the nutrition label and now I have to concentrate on sodium as well as fat, sugar, fiber, etc. Gets overwhelming after awhile. Good for you for making one change at a time. Wish I could get that stubborness to succeed going in me too. Good luck this week!
Well...that is it for now. Last doctor appointment for while this afternoon...at least I hope it is. It is the follow up from the colonoscopy.
