How did it go today? Easy getting to the other side of the hump or was the day a struggle? Let us know how your day went.

It's almost 7PM here and I haven't fallen asleep yet! Busy day at work. My boss has been on the never ending trial and even without him there things have been quite busy. The man is really stressed and rattled since he seemed to think that June had ended and July had begun.

Dog walking was put off the agenda for the day. We've been having some fairly intense lightning and rumbles of thunder. There hasn't been any rain although DH has been doing the rain dance for his vegetable garden. We do have a cucumber growing, some itty bitty tomatoes and flowers on the zucchini. I've already used basil from the garden and my flowers are doing well.

I made a yummy sesame chicken pasta salad for dinner and when J-Deb mentioned cheese and crackers I decided that some leftover cheese and crackers from the weekend party would be nice to have along side the salad.

Time to get my checkbook in order. I haven't gotten to it all week and really need to get it up to date and get some bills paid.

Hope everyone has had a good day and there are pleasant dreams out there for you!

Going to head upstairs in a minute, one more dose of Motrin then its nighty, night time for me. My lower left side of my back is still sore and I do not know why. I have been popping Alieve and Motrin like mad. Went to work not knowing if my co-worker would show but she called me around 10 to check in. She had forgotten about Bill's appointment and my "supposed" days off. She went to the hospital to visit with her mother and since she is stable she came in so I was able to go with Bill to the nuclear stress test. I think that is what is was, lol. Katie went with our neighbor this morning to play mini golf, returned for a swim in their pool and then off to the movies to see Nancy Drew. She got home a little while ago but called me around 5 when we were still at the doctors office. She was upset because she did not want me angry at her......seems the young lady was too busy to do any of her chores...oh sorry she did clean the cat boxes. She thought I was going to be mad but instead I explained she would not get paid for the day. What could I do, right? Bill's test went smoothly but made for an extremely long day. We got there at 2 and left at 6:30. We then headed to the diner for some salad and grilled chicken and Bill's way over due cup of coffee, lol. It's extremely hot here and I am beat. Tomorrow is yet another day and I am not sure what its going to bring so best to head upstairs and go to sleep. Oh Aunt Flo showed up this morning too, which drags me down as well.

I forgot Billy has an appointment tomorrow at 1:15 for his MRI on his foot. I asked if they wanted me to be there and he said no but "HE" wanted to know if I could come with him. I said yes of coarse but it does make me laugh. No matter how old they still need and want their moms at times.

It was an 'off day' from the working world but I worked nevertheless.

What was involved with the nuclear stress test? I missed the postings about why he needed one.
