Hello Everyone...I am new to the list...How really encouraging this group feels. I just love it...I've done my exercising for the day, 15 minutes weights, and a 30 minute yoga session. I have a really bad back so I am not able to do cardio, but I ove to walk, yoga, and some free weights. I am more working on being more healthier, better outlook in life and seeing the 40's as the best time of my life. Hope everyone is having a great week so far, and a wonderful weekend...
Hi, all and Patty...Thankful to be here today and be able to celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary.
You are so right about exercise elevating your mood. I get a real high sometimes when I teach classes because a-I am still able to teach, b-I actually made it through, and c-well I just feel good and it does last. I can wake up in the morning, drive to the gym dreading having to be "up" to exercise and then 10 minutes into it I feel great and feel grateful that I pushed myself. Now you know why I continue to teach...I wouldn't push myself otherwise with the way I feel some mornings.
Almost all packed for the trip to Maine. Had a hard time deciding what to pack since it is supposedly cooler up there. Anyway, I think I got it right. I will be gone from Saturday to Saturday and I plan to bring summer reading and crocheting and my laptop. Maybe there will be some internet service.
