Time to check in and tell how your day was...

Certainly can't say that I was bored at work today. The workday flew by I ended up only taking a 1/2 hour for lunch and ended up working until 6:30. Since my coworker has had foot surgery she's been working strange hours so that her husband who works in the area can drop her off and pick her up. But today a friend of hers was in the office on business so she ended leaving extra early. My boss had his first trial which has been working on a morning only schedule still isn't finished and was put over until late July but he's set to start another one tomorrow. In the meantime his BIL is back in the hospital after suffering a blood clot after bypass surgery. He's only 40+ years old, has a heriditary condition he didn't know about and after he had his appendix removed about 6 weeks ago ended up back in the hospital for bypass surgery. The doctors figure that the only way he's still alive is the fact that he was in tip top physical condition. Then his aunt is in the hospital after being jaundiced so bad that according to him she's the color of Tweety bird. Then early this morning he had to take his daughter to the ER after she woke up with 104 temperature. Seems that she has a kidney infection and has been having problems but didn't tell anyone. Plus he had a town board hearing today. Needless to say the man is under tremendous pressure so the associate and I took care of things that needed to be done-Sunshine of course was no help at all and we decided to stick around after 5 to finish up the trial notebooks and hopefully have them in good shape. The man has really been very good to me over the years and I was glad lend an overtime hand.
I came home to a nice quiet house and was glad that even though the pork had been in the crockpot for an extra hour it was still delicious and that it was ready made and ready to eat U didn't have to do a thing! I'm going to add my crockpot to the list of things to be thankful for! I had my pulled pork this evening and enjoyed some fresh blueberries and strawberries with some Cool Whip Lite on top for dessert-oh so tasty!
At this point I think it's time for pjs. The day was been a long hard one and I'm so ready for a comfy chair.
Hope you've all enjoyed a great day!

Susan I am ready for my PJ's too. My morning was busy but not crazy. Since my back was really bothering me this morning I took two Alieve about 8 and then around 10 I had to take two Motrin. That seems to have worked much better and I retook the Motrin around 3 ready for another dose now. Picked up Billy at 1:00 and

My day was busy but at a nice pace, not rushed to get things done.
Bob and I had an adventure. We were heading out for a walk when a groundhog popped up. He and Bob had a stand off. I didn't know what to do! Bob would bark and go at it. It would make a noise at Bob and come at him. Then the crazy thing would stop and eat grass!!Although

Congratulations on the raise Nancy!

Patty funny story about Bob and the groundhog. Years ago Bingo had a stand off with a opposium. The thing just laid there and Bingo kept barking. Bill wanted to pick it up and move it but I told him no way. Sure enough 10 minutes later it was gone.......
Now about your FIL wow. I am so glad you looked into the medication and discovered the problem. What a stupid BIL you have, I sure hope your husband said something to him. No excuses. Glad he was feeling better.
