Good Morning,

Another picture perfect summer day! It was such a beautiful morning I got up early, got my bike out and pedaled away up and around the neighborhood in the morning sunshine. DS was hinting around if I would like a gauge for the bike that would tell me how far I've gone.

I heading off to the shower, I'll have some breakfast and then off to replenish the refrigerator. A mani/pedi is also on the agenda and then the afternoon is up for grabs. Personally if I just sit outside with my book and make something nice for dinner I'll be perfectly content but I'll see if DH would prefer to do something else. Sometimes we enjoy a drive with destination nowhere.

Otto and I will head out for a walk after dinner. I also tivo'd a couple of movies so I may watch one of those this evening.

Hope everyone enjoys a splendid Sunday!

Good morning everyone! What a beautiful day we have here on Long Island. No humidity and a gentle breeze blowing. Last night we slept with the windows open and I just love that! I started a post yesterday and then lost it. I was running behind...duh and I had to get moving before I missed our train. Yesterday I went into the city with my sister and mom and we met our youngest sister in there. We had tickets to see Mamma Mia..........a must for anyone coming into NYC for a visit. It was one of the best plays I have seen, so much fun. We cried and laughed. Jdeb if you have not seen it please get tickets next time you and Eric travel back here. From the theater we caught a cab to a restaurant my BIL had done all the mill work at. It was called the Blue Smoke and it is attached to a Jazz Club. We had delicious dinners and yummy blueberry crumb pie for dessert. We shared the dessert, lol. We then walked back to Penn Station, stopping at a few shops, haggling with a few pocket book vendors, and a stop at Macy's. My youngest sis caught a cab back to Grand Central Station where she caught a train back to Connecticut and my mom and sister and I caught the LIRR back to home. I was in the door by 10 pm. Great day! Today is a lazy morning and I am enjoying my second cup of tea. Not really hungry but I should make a egg white so I don't eat something stupid. Going to take Katie out to see Daniel and I offered to sit with Kim's children (ages 2 and 6 weeks) so she could ride with Katie. I am hoping she has a double stroller because I would love to take them for a walk but I don't think she does. From there it will be back home to straighten out the house a bit and relax. Bill is working on his trailer and truck. He bought a new AC unit to install in the trailer and his hitch needs to be replaced on the truck. BBQ chicken in on tonights menu with some stuffing for the guys and a big tossed salad. That about rounds out my plans for the day............maybe a book on the front porch??? Hope everyone has a great day today!

Yes, and I always grump out when Home Depot or Lowe's do not stock enough cabinet hardware.
