I got to come home from work early today. Boss told me to leave at 3 but didn't actually get everything that needed to get out the door until about 3:15. We had another Sunshine "to do"-again while I was out to lunch. Apparently my boss told her to be quiet and yet the motor kept on going and didn't stop until the third time. This was all about putting bills into envelopes. My coworker asked her boss if she could please lend us a hand so everything could get out the door today. Apparently she took issue with that and said she should have been consulted first. There was a very quiet conversation behind closed doors between the partners. There have to be a few screws loose in that head of hers.
It was a very busy work day and that coming home early was such a nice treat. I got a new cooking magazine in the mail that I got to look through and even treated myself to a little bit of a nap.
DH is in a mood this evening with everybody and everything so Otto and I went for our usual after dinner walk and I've spent a good amount of time with my nose buried in my book.
Debating now whether to enter the laundry room and finish up what I started this morning or just wait until tomorrow.
DD did manage to get to work this morning. Her BF came and picked her up and took her to and from work. I think she's going to be car shopping over the next few days. Even if they get the car up and running I don't think any of us are going to feel too comfortable with her driving it. It has well over 100,000 miles on it and think that it just may be time.
Donna-glad that you took some time away from work. Your menu sounds great for tomorrow-hope the weather cooperates.
Patty-hope the family recovers from the shake up in the routine!
Rhonda-glad to see a post from you. Sounds like you're having a great time!
Kat-great job on that weight loss.
Nancy-I certainly do agree with on trying to understand the male mind-way too complicated for me!
Deb/MN-your bbq is sounding mighty fine too! Happy birthday to your DD!
