Good Morning,

Love the poster this morning and your thoughts this morning.

It's going to be the three H's for the next couple of days. Trying to cool the house down by running the acs a bit before heading off to work.

I had a very nice pre birthday dinner out last night. We went to a little Italian place near us that I really enjoy. We had an antipasto platter that was for two but fed the 5 of us very well. I had a really delicious chicken stuffed with prosicutto and melted cheese on top with sauteed mushrooms in a white wine sauce. And yes there was dessert-banana crepes with nutella and fresh whipped cream.

DD is planning dinner this evening. I think she's picking up some chicken sausage for the bbq. And knowing DD there will be a cake in there somewhere!

Down to the basement this morning for a workout and with all extra food I'll try to make sure that I'm down here every morning!

Time to get moving for the workday ahead. Hope everyone has a good start to the week!

I'm in Girls.. The canoe has been launched here too... Yesterday I wanted the DH to come with me on a rails to trails bike ride... I never go alone... Well he didn't want to... so I said help me load up the bike and I will go myself... off I went... We used a new bike rack which didn't exactly stay put.. Thankfully I didn't go that far and lose the bike on the road... Road and sat on some of the benches and thought.

Good thoughts, Patty. I'm hearing some very determined women here, so you're bound to be successful.

I made it home safe and sound and on time yesterday afternoon. The temperatures may read the same in MD as in FL, but it feels hotter here, which is OK with me. Tim and I stopped at our favorite little Mexican restaurant on the way home for dinner.

Good Monday afternoon all! Your post was perfect for today Patty, especially for me! I must focus and I BELIEVE that poster and the visual of the canoe is just what I need. Surely we CAN and WILL control our destiny for one week. I am going to go day by day, but it is only 7 days and very doable. I hear it takes 3 days to get on track and 2 weeks to make a habit...so good choices are the way to go.

Exercise is all planned out for me for the rest of the month. I think I am teaching or subbing a class or two just about every week day and some weekend days. So that won't be a problem as long as I pace myself.

My challenge is having to get back on track after vacation. By the way, Maine was wonderful and the weather wasn't too bad. I came home exhausted but I did relax yesterday to recharge my batteries. Also, my step mom is coming up from Florida and staying with us for a month and staying on track is going to be hard. Good thing one of my jobs is teaching exercise classes so I have no excuse to not exercise.

I really have to get this house back in order after being away for a week and DH here alone. Nothing like coming home from a vacation and then having a house guest right away.

Hope you all have a nice week and keep that canoe on course. Talk to you all soon...

Grace

Keep on keeping on!
