I could never live on a diet that restrictive. I hate to admit I like food way too much. I do know limiting the carbs does help me lose water and supposedly it will help with belly fat (according to the South Beach Diet). But, carbs are allowed...just the right kind. I don't have caffeine either. I stopped it a few years ago. The only caffeine I do have is in dark chocolate...and that isn't too often either, especially now with cutting sugar. Now that I don't understand since caffeine is a diuretic and helps with getting rid of water. I guess it has to do with keeping your insulin level more stable by not having caffeine.
I figure I gave up enough already so I just can't give up good food too. My Italian background does not help.
