Not much is happening here, and frankly, that's a good thing for a change. I haven't eaten since lunch yesterday and slept a lot from yesterday afternoon. I'm starting to get a bit hungry, so maybe I'll get a big salad and try to start the
That certainly was one wild morning, Susan! Hope the waters have subsided some by now. I wouldn't even go out in the storms today...I am deathly afraid of lightning. What a scaredy cat I am!
Hi, all....so glad it seems to be clearing up from the storms. As much as I hated to open the windows to all the humidity, I had to because it was cooler outside than in the house. I am sure that will all change once the sun comes out full force. The flooding all around is awful...I am so grateful we live on a hill.
I see I am not the only one having trouble with keeping the eating under control. I just don't get it, Nancy and Karen! I actually eat better than I ever had but maybe a little too much, but not as much as I once did and the scale keeps going up. I thought I had a handle on it last week, but I seem to be heading back to my old habits again. I just can't imagine what I would weigh if I didn't exercise so much. Could it be my meds? Thyroid? The surgery I had in December? All of the above? Sigh....Age, I guess.
Anyway, I didn't get to teach today since the rain and lightening was so bad and luckily the aerobic room flooded so I got off the hook. I wouldn't go out in that weather for a lousy $20. They are so cheap at that gym and I don't know why I stay there. I like the members and I guess I still get a workout and get paid for it. Also, very close to my house.
So glad that your MinL is home and doing ok. I do hope the home health care works out. What a scare you all had and it all had to do with a "misread". I know all about the bleeding after the angiograms. It is hard to lie still for hours afterwards too, especially not moving your legs so the groin can clot.
Welcome home and sorry about your kitty. Hope it is nothing serious. Keep being healthy!
There is so much more to life than being attractive, so try not to get too caught up in the culture of beauty. You are already a beautiful person inside and out -- the people who choose to be in your life can tell you that any time you need them too. The faces you see on the magazine covers are airbrushed beyond all recognition, so holding yourself up to those types of standards is ridiculous! Oh, and you know what's also ridiculous? People who think that looking good is all it takes to be good.
You guys are gonna LAUGH when I weigh in and tell you how bloated i was!!
