I've already reported on our super soggy day here on LI. You would think with all the rain the air would have cleared out a bit but instead the humidity is worse than it was. It makes for real bad hair days and for me it just wears me out!

I see that I'm not the only one who's suffering from the I'm not doing very well with my eating syndrome. My fluff factor is currently on high alert! Today was a better day though. My after dinner cravings are terrible!

Otto and I did venture out for a walk and Otto made a new friend named Faith. She's also a beagle with the long body like Otto has although not as pleasantly plump as Otto. They seemed to enjoy each other's company!

Kind of a slow day at work. I actually had to get an adjournment of a case that was on the calendar for this morning since both attorneys were stuck in massive traffic. The court clerk was rather funny and told me that she didn't have a problem with granting any adjournments this morning as she had just arrived and was the only one there and she stated she was in definite need of a hair dryer for her dress!

I enjoyed the salmon salad and green bean salad I made for dinner and in fact there are leftovers for me for lunch tomorrow. I know DH enjoyed the green beans. I'm not too sure how the salad went over. He was a little quiet on the subject!

Rhonda-glad to have you back! Sounds like your past few weeks have certainly had its ups and downs. Sorry to hear about the altercation among the siblings and your mom and that your mom is having health issues. Glad to hear good things about your Dad. The time with Jackson certainly sounded like fun! Hope you and Tim can have a relaxing weekend away from the stress and that Calgon will take you away!

Karen-so you want to trade the bedroom furniture in your dining room for a rear end in my living room and no it's not exercise equipment or a spare one for my rapidly expanding one-more like a rear end for a Mustang! Hopefully the decor will change for both of us! Hope the paint project is going well. Paint projects don't go well around here. DH hates to paint-summer is too hot, winter is too cold, spring is too busy with the garden, fall is too busy cleaning out the garden for the winter that's too cold....Does sound like there are a lot of clean people in your house :)!

Patty-how are those chickens behaving? Any service guys buried in your backyard?

J-Deb-hope your MIL continues to improve. Sounds like a very stressful and a bit of scary time.

Time to move on up to my comfy chair for the evening and think it's time to turn on the ac in my little hideaway. I have a new magazine to peruse and a book that I'm still working on if the eyes can stay open.

Hope everyone has had a good day!
