Good morning everyone. Susan, hope you guys dry out now. They said we'd have off and on rain all day yesterday but never saw a drop. We are really dry here.Seems like everyone goes from one extreme to another.
The dictionary defines thankful as;

Good morning everyone.

Good Morning,
Another nasty weather day here. It's foggy and humid and looks like more rain and thunderstorms headed our way. There were varying amounts of rain across Long Island but we got about 5 1/2" between 8 and 11AM yesterday morning. Add a steam pipe explosion in NYC and it made for a pretty bad day for a lot of people.
I cannot get up in the morning for workouts lately. The only thing that woke me up this morning was Otto whining to be fed. I don't know what exactly the problem is so I don't know what the solution is.
Hopefully it will be a quick moving day at work. I know there are projects that need to be done at work just have to get that attorney moving on them!
Not sure about that walk with Otto this evening. According to the weather forecast looks like a rainy evening.
Came down to the basement this morning and found a nasty pile of wet towels still on the floor. DH had thrown some sweatshirts in the washer that were on the floor down here and got soaking wet from the water in the basement. I don't know why those towels weren't included to make up the load-but then again I don't understand the male way of thinking so they are whirling and twirling before they get any stinkier!
Thankfuls-
Safety from the storm yesterday-many people weren't so lucky. Thankful that the water issues in the house were minimal.
Thankful that DD recovered from her stomach ailment and is enjoying her time away.
Thankful for the wonderful women on the board.

Time to get going for another day and another dollar! Hope all is well with everyone! Enjoy the day!

Morning everyone.
Hi everybody. Dear J-Deb, so sorry about your cat. So sad.
The rain prevented my tennis class last night, but I took the dog on the 2.1 mile walk this morning and feel ok. Lifted weights for five minutes when I got home. That's all I can ever bring myself to do, it is so boring, but I do think it helps. I keep the weights right by the TV and do it almost every day. No flabby arms for me, please Lord!
Joy joy joy, tomorrow afternoon we start our drive to the mountains for a week of vacation with my SO's family -- which is wonderful. I am so looking forward to it; board games, swimming at the lake, tennis, bicycling, big family style suppers. My 13 year old son purchased the Pirates of the Carribean Game of Life board game and this morning was studying it to get ready to play at the lake house. We will be loading the three bicycles on our RED SATURN (two on top, one on the back), packing up the fun clothes, tennis rackets, sweatshirts for the late night star gazing ... how thankful, thankful, thankful I am!
So ladies, I will be back on line in ten days. Hugs, Marianne

It's just strange, he's purring and hiding out, purring--but not eating a bite.
