Interesting day

Looks there may be less Sunshine in my life of the human form anyway. Seems that the leaving before everyone else on Friday escalated into a bit of a war. She actually called my boss back on Friday and demanded an apology from him and then sent him an email over the weekend to the same effect. According to her she didn't know what "leaving at the same time" meant-not sure what language she was looking for-sounded pretty straight forward to me. And apparently this morning there were more words exchanged, her storming into her boss'office (as usual)and expecting him to back her up. Instead she was told to fix it-she didn't like the response and she promptly gave 2 weeks notice. She apparently sealed her decision with written notification. Personally I think it's a ploy to see if he'll cave and try to rectify the situation since he likes smooth sailing waters. We seem to be rather divided at work on whether this will actually happen.

She was ranting and raving to my coworker on how she's the target of the office and how she's singled out. I think DD summed her up in one word-the definition of which I didn't fully understand until this evening but it would be sociopathic-and she fits the definition to a tee.

So we'll see if it actually happens...I'll let you know.

Susan give us your boss' email address and we will send a bunch of anonymous emails saying get rid of her, lol. I am sure if they do let her leave the office will be a changed place. In Feb when my co-worker gave her notice I was surprised my boss did not ask her to stay by offering her a raise or full time since she got both those things when she left us. He was happy to see her go. Don't get me wrong we do miss her she was a nice person but we found out how much calmer our office was. Our boss was more at ease. Mind you I took over her job and she had been doing it for 14 years so I still have a lot to learn but he did give me a raise along with the other ladies. I will keep my fingers crossed that the next two weeks go quickly and she leaves quietly.

So she doesn't feel "unloved", you could offer to help her pack her stuff and tell her that she deserves better (somewhere else)!! LOL!

I can't believe she feels that she is owed an apology.
