A frantic Friday at work. It was a very busy day. There were a lot of things to get out the door and my mind was in so many different directions I was trying to keep tie up a lot of loose ends and leave notes for my coworker on anything that she might have a problem with come Monday. We'll just say that she likes the fact that I do the calendar and the majority of the client contact is done by me so she's less than thrilled when I go on vacation and she has to play me!

Had a long conversation with DD. She's feeling a bit overwhelmed by the whole moving process and buying a new car in the same weekend. The interest rate is turning out to be a lot more than she had anticipated and she's weighing out a year less payments with a lower interest rates but a bigger monthly payment versus a year more higher rate but a payment that's a bit less per month. Either way the payment is still more than she had wanted. But when you've been without a car for a month you know the decision needs to be made. They had trouble with a truck rental but her BF has a friend with a big truck who has been a really big help in getting her stuff moved. It's just been a lot of trips back and forth between the 2 locations. He's going to be getting a big dinner of his choice to say Thank You!

It looked like rain so we opted not to go down to the park for the concert. It's been the usual very quiet Friday evening around here.

Think I'm headed off to bed at this point. It's actually a bit past my bedtime. Such excitement!

Nighty nite!

Susan what kind of car did your dd decide to get? I hear all these "specials" on TV for like $219 a month did she go for something like that?

She got a 2007 VW Rabbit. Some very misleading advertising as she went in under the assumption of 0% financing for qualified buyers but even in the fine print they left out the part that it was for 36 month financing only.

She's going with the higher interest rate for the longer period of time but will put extra money towards the principal when she can and hopefully pay it off a year earlier.
