Good morning Princess... Where is everyone else... Busy I suppose... Anyway,, Good message!! I will be taking an honest look at my diet and exercise program.. It's time for me to get serious.
Beautiful blue skies this morning but lots of heat and I'm sure the humidity will right along with it.
We never ended up going anywhere yesterday. The weather was so changeable looking so while DH was reading DD and I went to Macy's. She was on a mission for a dress for the christening. She ended up with two since she couldn't quite make up her mind which she wanted to wear. One was more comfortable but she really liked the other one better. So she bought both and will decide later. She treated DH and I to lunch and then DH was down in the basement rumbling around and DD and I played Scrabble. We haven't done that in a long time and as usual she beat me. I had DD's BF for dinner last night. I made those burgers with the turkey sausage and sirloin-so good and the broccolini was really good. Otto and I enjoyed a nice walk later in the evening and I was surprised that in spite of the humid weather he wanted to go for a long walk.
I slept until after 7 this morning and then headed out on my bike for a ride. It's a lot different riding and walking on a weekday. You have to watch out for the garbarge trucks and a lot more car traffic with people heading off to work and sometimes in way too much of a hurry. DH is doing some work on his truck this morning and then I'm going for a cut and color which I desperately need. I'm very shaggy and overgrown and way too much gray for my liking. Later this afternoon DD and I are going to head to the jewelery store where my boss wife's mother works. DD is looking for a cross for the baby for her christening. I've seen some the pieces from his store and they're beautiful. He also did a great job on fixing my engagement ring. The stone had come loose and he cut down the prongs and reset the stone and looks so nice. I'm going to cook up the first eggplant from the garden in some form this evening for dinner.
Rhonda-love the mirror for Jackson's room! Glad you were get down there and spend some extra spoil time!
Karen-glad to hear that you decided to go to your Mom's party. I'm sure she'll be glad to have all her kids there.
Well I'm going to see what kind of trouble I can get myself into or maybe some other way to be lazy or maybe she what I can throw out down here without DH knowing since he's outside :)!
Those 10 hour days must be killers. Hope you'll have something fun happen during the day to make it go by more quickly or at least more pleasant.
I really miss those fresh veggies. Dad has macular degeneration too. Before he became frail and went into the nursing home, he always had a great veggie garden and we looked forward to the bounty. Nothing like fresh from the garden!
Well, Patty, I knew you'd grown your hair out, but I had no idea...! ;-) I know I go a bit overboard on Jackson. I was/am the same way with my children. I just really love to do for them and see their faces light up

Too long you think? ;)
I don't think you go overboard!

Good morning everyone.
The recipe for the burgers was in that Cooking Light and the peanut butter pie did look really good :)!

The pie---my only concern is that I'd eat the entire pie...2700 calories or so worth, and gain a lb.
