Good Morning,

Thoughts and prayers are with those that have been effected by that terrible bridge tragedy. Coverage was on the front page of our local newspaper. It truly was horrific. Hope all is well with Deb/MN and her family. Nancy, prayers for Sarah that she is safe and glad to hear that DH's brother and family are safe.

We did head out to the Vanderbilt yesterday. Unfortunately the Planetarium had a brown out and we weren't able to see the show. We were refunded the money but it was a disappointment. The mansion overlooks the Northport Bay and the views were amazing. We headed back early afternoon and stopped at Wendy's for lunch and then went on a hunt for outdoor garbage pails, a piece to fix DD's lamp and bracket for a shelf DH is making for me for the kitchen. Believe it or not the pails were hard to find and we both refused to pay almost $40 for the ones at Lowes. We stopped at Target they didn't have any and finally ended up at Home Depot and found Rubbermaid pails for $13.98. Quite a difference. We came home and DH promptly went to take a nap. I thought about making dinner but he was still asleep at 6PM. I think he was expecting me to call him and tell him dinner was served but that didn't happen.

I think we're head back on the road today. DH wants to make a visit to the cemeteries. I'm not quite sure that's how I want to spend the day but I will probably go along for the ride. Maybe we'll stop for lunch somewhere along the way.

Otto decided it was a good day to run away from home. He came outside with me when I went out with my cup of coffee and he was doing his rolling around in the driveway and the next thing I knew there he was looking at me from the other side of the fence. Apparently DH left the gate open when he took the garbage out. He usually runs when he sees me coming to get him but he was just sniffing around my neighbor's lawn which made it easier to get him home. Guess he's not sure whether there's no place like home!

Thankful for this week of vacation.
Thankful that DD has new reliable transportation.
Thankful for vegetables from the garden.
Thankful for emails and funny things in my inbox.
Thankful for an extra vacation check.

I guess I'd better get moving and head to the shower if we're going anywhere today. Hope everyone has a good day.

I need an upcoming, exotic trip to keep me honest!! ;-) Sounds as though it will be really nice at that time of year.

Although I'm still dragging, I had planned to go work in the front yard when I got up, but Mother Nature has other plans. It's one of those drizzly mornings where it looks as though it'll be wet for a while. I may be forced to work INSIDE. Yuck! I do need to get to the UPS place to drop off my saliva test kit I did when I woke up and before bed last night. We could use some groceries too.

Tim is being interviewed by "The Jacksonville Business Journal" today. They've done articles on his company before. It would be so neat if he could get the cover story, because it's
