I ended up having a decent food and exercise-wise. It drizzled and rained lightly off-and-on all day, so not the best day to work outside. It was the good kind of rain that soaks in without washing things away.
Rob and I grabbed lunch at Sweet Indulgences, dropped off my saliva test kit, and went to Borders, Best, PetsMart, Lowe's, and BJ's. I got 5 vinca vines to use as ground cover under the oak tree. I finally had to admit grass is just not going to grow in that much shade. Bought some Purslane to replace a few that appear to have been stepped on. Got the vinca planted, but not before digging through some major oak roots first. I spread 120 lbs. of top soil and sawed off some limbs from a crape myrtle that was starting to overhang the driveway. Never did get to do anything in the front flower bed.
I was so sweaty and dirty from the yard work that I had to wash up and change clothes before I could go sweat in Zumba! I even had my hair all pulled back in a clip. Not a pretty sight.
