Good morning ladies........it is Saturday, right? What is on your schedule for the day? Trying to beat the heat with a hamock and a glass of lemonade or heading into the world for a work out? No words of wisdom from me today. No thinking from me today either.......keeping it simple. How about you?

The sun is out! I had another practically sleepless night. When I was still awake at 3, I tried 3 sprays of the Bach Sleep Remedy. Since I was still awake after 5, I'm thinking it didn't do the trick for me. I'm afraid I'm going to have to break down and ask the dr. for some type of sleep remedy. Three drs. have recommended them previously, but I was always afraid to try them, since Tim had such a bad reaction to one. I just have to get some sleep!

Yesterday, after Zumba, I grabbed a fast shower and left with wet hair, got gas, went to Costco for Mom where they didn't have her prescription filled (waited for them to call the dr. who wouldn't give the OK for it during lunch time, so that was a waste), waited in a long line to pay for one item, waited for blowing rain to

Rhonda you are one busy cookie! I would love to see photos of your project........or instead in person? We are heading your way next Friday morning!!!! I can not wait. Do you think we could get together Saturday early evening for dinner and drinks? Would Tim be alright with it? We rented a convertible and we figure we would do some sight seeing along with our pool laying. Let me know if you would like company and we can eat at one of those places you always talk about. Bill and I are big seafood eaters. Or if you would prefer to head to the resort and eat on the island that is fine with us too. Let me know!

Good Morning

Although the weather people said we should have less humidity it doesn't feel that way to me nor did the sky look that way with all the haze that was out there when I headed out for my walk at just past 7AM. I walked for about 3 miles and literally had to peel off my sweaty disgusting clothes so I could get into the shower. We were supposed to have big storms rumble through last night but with the exception of about 10 minutes of rain and some rumbles of thunder-nothing! Yet about 6 miles north of here where DD's BF's apartment is they had hail last night. Wierd!

Well it's Saturday and trying to decide what to tackle around here. I should just put all the tasks in a hat and pick something. Housecleaning should be a #1 priority yet I don't feel like putting any effort into it. I think I'm just tired of the effort that it takes to make the place look nice and it goes unappreciated and as evidenced by the amount of stuff just laying around nobody really cares all that much. The outside is calling too. The amount of weeds out there is horrible. And there is always laundry and if I'm going to have anything to wear to w**k (can't quite say it yet) I probably should tackle the pile on my ironing board and then there are bills to pay-I think I'm feeling a taste of reality coming on! Yet what I really want to do is go find a new pair of sneakers! I think the worn out ones are contributing to the knee and hip issues. That really should wait though until my next paycheck.

Well better figure out what I'm going to do and what order to do it in and get started before I have the excuse that it's lunch time!

Hope everyone has a super Saturday!

Tim had said he'd like to get together. I'll remind him that's coming up. I think Saturday evening would be fine. Usually, the places we go are pretty far south from where you'll be staying, but there is a place up there we like called Brett's Waterway Cafe. It's better before dark, because it's on the water and you can see that. It's not a really hole-in-the-wall great seafood place, but the food is good, atmosphere is nice, and scenery is great. I've never been there for dinner, just lunch. I used to work up there on a dental office when it was built and when it was doubled in size. Also, worked on a church building.

I have been sitting here at the computer for over an hour trying to catch up on my emails and this board. So much to do and so little time. Busy work week with one of my coworkers on vacation. I worked all 5 days which has left me exhausted. From work it was home to cook, organize the

Happy Saturday everyone! It is another blistering day up here in Boston. My SO and I played tennis from nine to ten this morning; the visor and sunglasses help but the sun is just too hot, ladies!

We went out for breakfast and I had French toast with bananas and walnuts. Yummy.

I know this sounds crazy, but this is our first unscheduled Saturday of the summer.

I am laying low, reading some mysteries that I picked up at the library yesterday. Housework can wait.

Brain shutting down,

I read an article the other day that said the leading cause of knee pain is shoes that either are worn out or simply don't fit properly.
