We will be having the 3 H's here today and depending the atmosphere in the office one can only hope that the heat won't be on in there! Temperature wise my trusty ugly black sweater is hanging on the back of my chair for the arctic freezer!
Alarm was blazing away this morning when I finally heard it I didn't want to linger in bed for any amount of time before I talked myself right out of getting up and getting a workout in. So up and down to the basement I went. Love to check that off as accomplished! Since then it's been the early morning household chores. The washer and dryer are doing their thing and slowly but surely the laundry mountain is becoming more of a hill.
Dinner will be easy tonight since I made it last night. I'm eagerly awaiting the verdict on my sauce and meatballs. I am a bit out of practice so I'll have to see what the sauceman thinks.
My flower beds in the back are a mess. I have some wierd tomato plants growing up in the beds and my backyard farmer may not take kindly to me pulling them up since they have tomatoes on them. Between them and the weeds the flowers are no where to be seen and they're spilling over on the patio area so that looks like a mess too. Depending on when I get home after my walk with Otto I may see if I can tidy the area up a bit. Of course that's easy to say right now-now sure how I'll be viewing the situation at 7:30 this evening.
I'm off to sort some socks, pack up some snacks for work and head out to the land of abundant "Sunshine"! Hope the day treats everyone well!
Hi everybody. Yes, those aches and pains seem to come with the forties, gals. So sorry about the calves, Pattie.
Today, I am having lunch with a friend from church. Later, I am going to a driving range to practice with my friend who came with me last week to the beginner golf clinic.
Last night, Aunt Flo arrived and I slept until 9:15 this morning! If only we could always sleep in when we need it. Usually, it is "set the alarm and keep on going."
I am enjoying a few days off before I start my new job August 20th.

PS the pulled pork sandwiches were a success! Along with the potato chips and inexpensive Yellow Tail Chardonnay. We watched the movie Bullit (from 1968 with Steve McQueen) and there went the evening. Lovely.
