Good Morning,

Started off the morning with some light rain but promises of sunshine and low humidity...we'll see!

Terrible night of tossing and turning. I kept waking up thinking it was time to get up and then when it finally should have been time to get up I was in a deep sleep. So much for an AM workout. Hopefully a better day of healthy eating.

The weekend was a complete blur. They always go by fast but this one in particular was just gone! Emma looked like such a princess yesterday. DD and her cousin certainly picked the perfect dress for her and her lace and beaded headband certainly added the finishing touch of the course the lacy socks and little satin shoes didn't hurt either. I didn't get to hold her. DH swooped in and then his sister and then she was being passed around here there and everywhere. DD finally got her hands on her right before we left and she offered to give me some time but she was so soundly asleep in DD's arms that I didn't want to disturb her.

I'm in one of those weepy kind of moods that seem to hit me every few weeks. I just feel like a giant piece of mush.

Back to work this morning and so not wanting to be there. So many things that needed to be done around here that just couldn't be done. Last week though and another week of vacation. I think I just caught up from the last week of off. Not complaining about another vacation week-just a little too close together. Good thing is that I'm off and then Sunshine is gone so two weeks without my "rays"!

I have some chicken cooking for the Chicken Club ring for tonight's dinner. I also cut up fresh melon so no excuse for not having healthy snacks around.

Karen-I am in complete awe of what great menus you can put together for unexpected company! I think I'll call you from the airport and tell you I'm coming for dinner!

Nancy-glad you had safe travels this weekend. Sounds like you had a great time! Great job on getting that treadmill time this morning.

Well my buzzer for my chicken is beeping away and time to get my act together to get myself to work on time.

Hope everyone has a good start to the week!

ME ME...jumping up and down with hand over head! I am all set for the DO OVER! What a great analogy, PATTY (sorry Nancy for using your word but it does fit) and my workout today did turn things around for me. I taught step interval class..intervals of stepping alternating with intervals of body sculpting...and it felt so good. I had no chest tightness, had lots of energy during and after, and there was a good turnout. I still feel good. Sorry to say it again, but I can't believe how much better I feel being off the Crestor. So...I am all set for a great 10 days. Lots of fruits and veggies on the agenda here too!

So who else is doing the "DO OVER"?

I see you are NANCY! You already started you exercise off right and seem more than determined to make it work this time. I am cheering for you. Yes, it does seem you have a very busy week ahead.

SUSAN...sorry you are in a "weepy kind of mood" this morning. Is it cyclical? This darn perimenopause does that as well as the tossing and turning. Not getting enough or good quality sleep can do a number on us. Hope your plans of healthy eating works today, but you always eat so well. Yes...where does the weekend go?

J DEB...you killed me with that picture of the cupcake cake! I am almost ready to cave and eat something "bad". NO no...I won't do it. Enjoy your workouts!

Yummy breakfast, ERIN!

DinL and kids spent the day here yesterday and are coming by today to say goodbye...they are leaving to go back home to NC tomorrow morning. Hopefully they will eat the leftovers that are calling my name too.

Have a good one all...GOOD LUCK DO OVERS!

Grace

Keep on keeping on!
