Good morning everyone.More storms were thru off and on all night. This getting old!Karen, I love the pictures! And I love hearing about back to school, I'm missing that this year.

One of the best ways to insure reaching a goal is to visualize yourself there. Want to lose 10 pounds, picture yourself with those pounds off.Want to be more confident, picture yourself being just that. We get locked into the image of who and what we are and forget we have the power

Good Morning,

A rainy day here on LI. It wasn't very nice yesterday either. But I still say, I really don't care 'cause I don't have to go to work!

My doctor's appointment went OK. Found out some of the issues that I'm dealing with are normal-and my thoughts that hormones really never go away are true. Discussed a few other issues and gave me some food for thought about some other issues that I'm dealing with at the moment. I scheduled my mammogram and Thursday I go for my bone density. My sister was recently diagnosed with osteoporosis and had been like me dealing with ostepenia for awhile so I'm trying to stay very diligent about keeping on top of this issue.

Otto's vet appointment went OK. I'm very proud to say that Otto has lost 3 lbs. I wish I could say the same! He does have an infection around his mouth so he's on an antibotic and I have to wash the area with a saline solution 2x a day. Definitely going to be a 2 person job for that. But other than that he's in good shape. By the end of the visit he seemed to be reluctant to leave-could it be the mountain of dog biscuits he got for being well behaved! While we were waiting for the vet they actually were shooting them under the exam room door to keep him occupied!

Ran to Target yesterday and picked up some things and also rented Dream Girls that I watched last night.

DH started a clean up in the basement yesterday. He's got some wierd things down here including some kind of mats that you put together for storage in an Expedition. Now ask me do we have an Expedition? The answer is no. Apparently they were throwing them out at work and since he knows the cost of them fished them out of the garbage. What are we going to to with them? I don't have a clue. I did see some things that I had thrown out awhile ago and were fished out have now gone back into the trash so maybe we're making a little progress.

After the clean up yesterday my workout area was not really useable but with the exception of some strange object over the treadmill I did have access to that. Always wondering when I turn it on whether it will function but it did and got a good walk/run on it using varying speeds and incline. I can tell from yesterday's workout that I used parts of my body that haven't been used in a while since I'm a bit sore all over today.

I had my breakfast of oatmeal, banana slices and coffee and I think maybe if DH and I get down here together maybe we can get some more stuff thrown out and put some order back into this place.

Patty-good luck to Ryan in school. That was sweet that you made him chocolate chip pancakes yesterday.

CL-Deb-how's your MIL? Continued Thoughts and prayers for her.

Rhonda and Lori-sending hugs to both of you and thinking of both of you.

Karen-loved the pictures of your kids! Back to school already-where has the summer gone!

Well better get a move before time gets away from me as it so often does when I'm home!

Thinking of you all and hope you all have a great day!

It's 730 am, I've eaten (soy sausage on english muffin with lf cheese) and showered and washed my hair (which is a waste since it will be soaking wet with sweat in a bit) and I'm ready for my Zumba class!
