Good morning everyone.Terry, hope you're feeling better. Marianne, how is the foot?

Yesterday I had some unplanned things come up and seemed to get little done. Plus I was distracted

Good morning everyone and thanks for your good wishes about my torn off big toe nail! It really did "freak me out." The good news is that twenty four hours later, it had calmed down. I wore Clark's clogs to work yesterday with pants and was fine.

Last night, my SO, DS and I went to the driving range and had a great time. A huge, glowing pumpkin moon hung in the sky.

Tonight I am hopeful for my tennis lesson.

We went out for Chinese last night which was fun; our first dinner the three of us together since my DS returned from three weeks with his grandparents. I ate so much and so badly!

Today will be better.

Best wishes to you Royal Chick, and all you fantastic ladies,

Marianne

Good morning, I wanted to post last night but ran out of time. Yesterday was a marathon day here. Had to go into work but first I HAD to make a bank deposit so I hit our bank at 8:30 as the drive thru opened. Then I headed to Kohl's to get a few things for MIL. She needed some tank top shirts since she is not wearing a bra to support the girls right now. I also got her a new pair of PJ's, soft and comfy against her skin. Ran those to my FIL then into my office. Work there was over whelming even though my co-workers really chipped in to help me out. Stayed the whole day since I am over loaded as it is. Bill opened the shop but left around 11 to head into the city with his dad. His mom got the thumbs up to be released and they asked Bill to drive. It took longer then expected to get released but she was home around 3. Bill got back to the shop around 4. I ran to the butcher for her, she had a taste for a fresh hamberger. Then I ran to the pharmacy to pick up all her prescriptions. Bill dropped the scripts off before heading back to the shop. I helped her and FIL unpack moms stuff and then threw a batch of laundry on for them. FIL was going to switch into the dryer. By the time I walked in the door here it was 7 and my family was hungery, lol, so was I. I made a nice steak dinner (first home cooked meal in over a week) which was nice. But by the time we cleaned up and I caught up on some of my laundry it was after 10:00. I had intentions of walking this morning but woke up with a really bad headache around 5:30. I took some Exedrin, let the dog out then headed back under my covers. Got up and 7:00 feeling better. Well I need to dry my hair and finish my tea and eggs. Its another full day at the office for me. Beauitiful weather here. They are busy putting walls on our garage, Rob is getting ready to head to school and well its another busy day. I need to catch up on everything so please forgive me. Hope you are all well and have a wonderful day.

Good Morning,

Another beautiful day here on LI. I definitely see signs of fall though...darker mornings, sun setting a little bit earlier. The summers always go fast...seems like DD just finished up with school and now she'll be heading back in a few days. Her 7th year teaching...where has the time gone?

DH in his infinite wisdom decided that it was ok to have them come and replace our garage door this morning before he checked to see if anyone was going to be home. He does this all the time and of course it turns into this complicated nightmare. If he only would ask before saying yes!

I have a doctor's appointment after work. Check up on the BP and we're going to have a conversation about these letters that go out from his office. They annoy me! It seems like every two years I get a letter about my cholesterol yet the numbers aren't all that different. If there is a problem...why don't you call? Still haven't heard about the bone density test either. I'm going to end up getting the results from him and he's already been on the bandwagon for me to take medication for that and the gyn says it's not necessary. So we'll see how that goes.

Since I'm going to be home late and DH has an evening of in and out the door I put the makings of steak fajitas in the crockpot. That way everybody can serve themselves.

Well gotta run...I'm running late and still haven't accomplished what I wanted to this morning and at this point I'm not going to.

By the way, I saw that big full moon and we'll just say it explains the office situation of Monday and we'll just say a lot of the phone calls that came in yesterday! That full moon really does do something in drawing out some strange individuals!

Hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday!

Amen, RC - you said a beakful.

Remember how I said there was a really energetic vibe in town and a lot of "TO SET" signs hanging off telephone and street-sign poles?

Good morning! Love the QVC inspiration :o).

All is good here in the NW today--although AF is causing havoc with my body.

Susan--do you slice up the meat in strips before you put it in the crock pot for the fajitas?
