Good Morning,

Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts for my BIL and the family. I'm so very thankful for this board. Whether it's words of comfort during a time of loss or a difficult situation, words of encouragement or a congratulations, a special time for the family, a good laugh, a band of women ready with their shovels you've all been there and I thank each and everyone of you.

DD headed back to work this morning...school doesn't open until Tuesday but the staff has to report back today. I'm not sure she was quite ready for it!

I did go to the doctor yesterday. I wasn't real happy with the bp reading. He didn't say anything about it since he looks for a range but it was definitely on the high side of normal. I didn't quite buy the explanation for the office procedure for the letters in the mail but we did discuss the cholesterol issue and although he would like to see the overall number come down he did still say that I have a very good ratio and not to be concerned. Since my favorite nurse isn't working there anymore I was happy that the new nurse has developed a better jabbing technique. She was none too gentle last time around.

Workout is completed for the day. Besides the early hour it's certainly a lot darker in the morning these days. Makes getting out of bed a bit more difficult. I thinks it takes about 15 minutes into a workout to realize that I'm supposed to be awake.

Pork tenderloin is marinating for the bbq for this evening's entree. I went to the trouble of making sure there was dinner for DH before he headed out last night and then he didn't eat it. I have to say that really bothers me and then he comes home and has cake and ice cream for dinner. His eating habits really concern me as well as his lack of follow through on doctor's appointments.

Off to work in a few and then dinner and if the weather holds a walk with Otto. Poor dog was traumatized last night when the Cookie Lady had no cookies with her. It did make for a very fast paced walk though so that he could keep up to make absolutely sure there wasn't a bag of treats somewhere...anywhere!

DS is still fighting with his insurance company over having his truck fixed. Apparently there wasn't any insurance on the other vehicle and his insurance company is dragging their feet getting a claim started and everyone he talks to at the insurance company has a different answer about everything.

Thankfuls

A week of a pleasant working atmosphere in the office this week. What a difference when there's a lack of Sunshine.

DD's promotion has been put into place

My very amusing canine buddy.

Well better get moving to get to work. Hope everyone has a great day.

It's strange because it's all of a sudden this week.

But my smaller body now is probably someone's "Before"....but that's ok.

My first thought was; is it because you're doing new things? But then I thought ; no . it's because as Nancy said you have worked at it.I can't tell you how many times I've thought of you this week and your workshop on Sat.I think that is so awesome!
