Thanks, Nancy. Relationships really can be a lot of work. I think for so long we just cruised and let some things slide to keep the peace that it was more damaging in the long run. Sometimes you have to care enough to fight about things and get through it. I don't know how this will turn out, but I do know I want to feel I've done everything I possibly can to fix it, that I've done it with a clear, not overly emotional head, and that I haven't rushed into anything one way or the other. It will make it a little less difficult if it does come to a parting of the ways, and if I'm lucky, we'll live "happily ever after" (well, almost). :-)

Rhonda,

I don't think you're crazy either. Being willing to stick with a situation and evaluate it with a clear mind and heart must indeed be a difficult one. Relationships are so very hard and I know that you will eventually know what the right path is for you. But in choosing whichever path you will know that you've thought long and hard. Just know that I'm thinking of you!

Hugs,

Susan
