Good Morning Patty,
Great post again Patty.

Good morning! I think I need to stock up on batteries -- all sizes!!
I set my alarm to be sure to get up in time to scrub the kitchen, breakfast room, and sun porch floors where the dogs roam before my anal-retentive daughter and her familiy get here. She is somewhat of a germiphobe (sp?), so I like for things to be as good as they can be around here with 4 house cats and 2 Yorkies. I doubt she'll even go in Rob's room with all the lizards!!
They're supposed to visit here for about an hour, then we're heading to my sister's house for a cook-out. I did my part of the food shopping last night. Lisa's boy friend will get to meet my crew and vice versa, so that should be interesting. We've been having heavy afternoon thunderstorms, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed the weather will be good. Our pool is still too full, and I need to go out and reprime the pump.
I'll check in later. Hope everyone has a fun non-labor day! Off to labor on the floors...

Good Morning,
Yup, recharging the batteries. I do get to feeling that way. So let's charge 'em up!
It's another absolutely beautiful day in the neighborhood. I went out for a bike ride this morning. I love the new gadget on the bike that gives me all my information. I rode about 10 miles this morning.
Before it gets any later I want to head over to my favorite little grocery store and get one of their chicken sausage for the bbq. DD and her BF are coming for dinner and I thought that would be good. I also made the burgers last night with the sirloin/turkey sausage combo. I made some extra so I'll throw those on as well. A tomato/fresh mozzerella/basil salad and I found some oven potatoes from Cooking Light that I want to try and some stove top baked beans. I will confess I also made the Peanut Butter Pie from Cooking Light. It made 2 pies so one is going to my neighbor.
Not sure what I'm going to do with the rest of the day. I do have a pile of ironing that is almost as tall as my dirty laundry so may tackle a bit of that or maybe not...
Nancy-have fun at the races!
Rhonda-have fun with that special little boy today and with the family!
Kathy-so nice to see you posting again! You're missed when you're not around!
Have I mentioned I love being off! 4 day work weeks are wonderful!
Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning everyone!
Hoping that the small Y is open, I'm needing the yoga class, then I'll do the toning one.
Happy Labor Day to all too! There is still school in session with a federal holiday? I wasn't aware of that! I think I need new batteries...those kids have the right idea.
I did teach my class this morning and I am glad I got some extra fitness in this holiday weekend. It will come in handy since I am making the first potato salad of the season today and even though it will be lowfat, I plan to indulge a little. Plan to make homemade coleslaw too...have to get the food processor out for that. Maybe the girls and their families will come over...open invitation and we will see. I am ashamed to admit I had no big barbeque/family gathering this year. I really wanted to, but the fatigue from that Rx made me not want to do anything. I wish I felt better sooner because I would have known to plan something for this weekend. Oh well...better luck next year.
Planning ahead a little too for the challenge and going over the WW info one more time. I am all set to go at it again.
Now it has come out again on the news that the new research has proved that there is no difference in the chance of clotting with drug eluding stents and uncoated ones. So, all the hype on how you had to stay on Plavix longer just in case is now in question. I wonder who did the first study...the pharmecutical company? Can't wait to confront doctor and tell him I want off! Taking aspirin and fish oil, flax seed oil, CoQ10 etc should be enough. They all work as blood thinners.
So off to make the potato salad...the potatoes are waiting for me on the stove. Should be cool enough by now to handle.
Have a super day all...
Grace
Keep on keeping on!
