Eric labored from am to pm.....I did ball work, weight work, zumba'd, and cleaned the house.

I also read, watched movies, watch BBC favs and had a good time by myself :o).

The day went by quickly...but then again when doesn't a day off pass quickly. I went to my favorite little Italian grocer and picked up some things for dinner. The place is dangerous! I did catch up on the ironing pile and at least I don't have to iron anything before work for awhile.

I had another headache today. Pretty much the same thing that happened Saturday was here again.

DD and her BF were here for dinner and we had dinner on the patio. We don't eat out there often enough and it was an enjoyable evening although the bugs seemed particulary hungry this evening. Otto and I ventured out after that and the summer nights are growing darker earlier. By 8PM it was dark.

Need to get myself to bed at this point. Early rise tomorrow for Fall Fitness Challenge Day 1!

I found the web sites for Jani Roberts ("The Lion of Zumba" in my opinion) and Tanya Beardsley (I dubbed "Zumba Gumby"). Tanya's the one who was teaching the class on the YouTube video I posted a few months ago. I was hoping they'd have some Zumba videos showing them on their sites, but I don't see any. Jani has one of her dancing though

I wish they'd come out here and do a master class!

We've talked about getting scarves, but nobody has. I did get some good dance sneakers today by Bloch at a dancewear store. They are supposed to have more support than the Capezio ones. I had to buy 2 sizes larger than normal to allow for heavy socks, insoles, and the fact that they're made overseas. Not cheap, but as comfortable as houseshoes. They worked really well in class tonight. Also, wore my visor and that helped keep sweat from my eyes.

I don't wear Nike, but probably could. I buy Mizuno and Brooks for running or cross training shoes. My feet are pretty average, I guess.

I don't care about guys in the class. They seem more embarrassed than the women, particularly if we do belly dancing moves. I've met some very nice women too.

There was an episode on Dr. 90210 the other night about a guy who sweated so profusely that it was a major problem for him. He had the Botox treatment and loved it. Said even though it was supposed to last only 8 months, he would definitely be doing it again. I don't perspire much, but I am soaked from Zumba. Sure ruined my hairdo tonight.
