I had to put a smiley face on the start up post to put me in a more positive frame of mind. It's been one of those days where aggravation and stupidity abounds. The workplace and the men at the helm are out of their ever loving minds. Their solution to the one less person in the office to hoist the work of the real estate stuff that Sunshine handles which is a secretarial/paralegal type of thing over to an already overworked attorney who is having more than her share of trouble trying to keep up with her workload. It just has trouble written all over it and the sole responsibility of the typing for 5 attorneys onto one secretary. I was handed a letter of someone to contact who is looking for part time or per diem work which is fine except that her letter is full of grammatical errors, looks like a mess and has hand written and stamped notations all over it. Not exactly very professional looking. I just don't get the thinking at all and in the end the two remaining secretarial staff members may be bald or a lot grayer from aggravation.

DS is still going around and around with his insurance company. The property damage adjuster is out of his mind and didn't show up at the body shop for the OK on the estimate that had been put together. The insurance company was going to put reconditioned parts on a brand new truck and when the body shop told him he wouldn't and couldn't do it that way.The estimate was also written up with the wrong type of truck and the wrong plate number. The adjuster was supposed to show up yesterday for an OK on a new estimate and didn't show up. So now the body shop has all the parts but can't start work on the truck until they get the go ahead. Four phone calls and still no return phone call to the body shop or my son. DS was also told that there wasn't any insurance on the other vehicle-except he got a message from his insurance company who said they're handling the claim with the other insurance company-hello? The lights are on but not sure whether anyone is home. So almost a month after this whole nightmare began he's still without his car and no idea how much longer it's going to be.

Also got my famous letter from the doctor in the mail today. My cholesterol numbers continue to climb and it just continues to completely frustrate me. I feel like I must be doing something wrong that these numbers just keep going up. I still haven't heard back from the gyn either about those results.

It's just been one of those aggravating frustrating kind of days. Hopefully tomorrow will be better and it is Friday!

You can take this 'for what it's worth' (and it might not be much ) but I had a woman tell me today that she has been taking cinnamon tablets and her cholesteral dropped 20 points.

Hey there friendly faces.........sorry I have been missing in action, yet again. I guess the last post from me would have been Sunday or Monday. Weekend was busy but that is normal. Went with Katie out to the Hampton Classic on Sunday for the Grand Prix, we had a beautiful day. It was really fun, relaxing and expensive but then again, it's the Hamptons.

Monday I got up early and met Aunt Linda for a walk then decided to run to the grocery store for a few items. Stopped by to see MIL for a little while and invited her to come over but she declined. Made a quiet day into a BBQ with my parents and our friends John and Debbie with their kids. Kept busy BBqing and entertaining but we had fun.

Tuesday was back to the grind stone. Work was busy and a full day. Katie went over to stay with MIL for the day and around lunch time I went over to take her to the lab for her weekly blood work. Wasted trip since they did not have her script and it was crowded. Tuesday night Katie and I headed to Bob Stores for some school clothes. Came home to a grumpy husband, that pushed me over the edge. Seems he was not happy with the gargage again and it caused him to become very upset and you all know how got the receiving end of that one. But I got my dander up and basiclly told him to just shut up and figure out what to do about it. I said he was the boss with this project and if he was not happy about some thing or several things he needed to speak up. Then I told him point blank I was exhausted with trying to juggle my job, the house, getting Rob ready for college (between supplies, paper work and financial aide stuff), Katie for school, my household bills, his shop bills, running errands for his parents, helping his mom...........you name it, he heard it. At that point he went out, I had a good cry, vented on my older sons shoulder, and wanted to call Susan to see if her space was still available for another body. Actually went to bed around 9:30 out of exhaustion.

Wednesday woke to a husband that appoligized to me and offered to take his own mom to her blood test at the lab at 11:00 to which I say........YES! Headed into the office for yet another full day then home for a run to Kohls for Katie's final stuff. Katie was great and did loads of chores yesterday which helped me out and Bill took care of his mom. I guess I scare him when I go off the deep end like I

I wrote a long post with thankfuls and everything this morning and lost it! Just didn't have it in me to do it again.

I saw the attorney for an hour-and-a-half ($750.00!!) and it was productive. He was as nice as my sister said he was. We have some long financial disclosure forms to fill out and things like that, but I've talked to Tim several times today, and he is being extremely cooperative. I told the attorney I knew he was going to think I'm flighty or foolish, because I just want to stay in separation mode for now, but still want to draw up a divorce agreement in case things don't work out. He said he doesn't pass judgement. In over 35 years of doing things, he's seen all kinds of things. I told him I now refer to us as the Dysfunctional Duo. We do love each other, and now Tim is even saying he wants to work things out. I am in no rush to go in one direction or the other. We'll take our time and if it's meant to be it will. Too many bombs are being dropped on me from all directions right now.

Latest with Dad is that they think his heart may be OK, but the hematoma is putting pressure on his brain and they're talking about drilling 2 tiny holes (which are left open!) to drain it and take the pressure off. It is risky, so Mom wants his neurologist called in about it before any decisions are made.

My throat has been draining on the left side today. Wonder if it could possibly be stress lowering my immunity?? It could be allergies. Tim had a killer headache in Dallas today and thinks it was allergy related. His plane should land around midnight. He called when they got to Atlanta.

Talked to Rob this evening. They had to be at the base at 5:30 AM for the festivities to start. He is NOT a morning person, much like his mother. They walked all over and did things there till 7 tonight. He said he was going to bed early. I think the graduation is at 9, so they should be back in Jacksonville by 2 or 3. Guess who's stuck taking care of his lizards??

I decided to go to the mall for some retail therapy after the appt. today. Found 2 pairs of capri length workout pants that were orig. $48. each for $12. each! My kind of deal. Of course, they're both black. That's about all I wear for workout bottoms. I didn't buy any shoes, but if I found some really cute navy ones I would. I don't know why it's so hard to find navy or gray. I see that pewter, silver, gold, bronze, and copper are big though, even forest green.

I got a couple of early birthday cards, and a super sweet one from my older sister really made my day. Some stores are sending me discount coupons too, so I'm saving those up. Got a bunch of fall catalogs in the mail and it was fun to look through those.

I hope I can get some good sleep tonight. Tomorrow morning is Zumba. I'll get cleaned up and head to the hospital from there.

'Night.
