Sounds like a fun day for you! I love the girl who cuts my hair. She is difficult to book with and I always have to make sure that I do it well in advance as she's always so busy. She just has that way with my hair and I always love it.

DD had suggested that I try some of the Laura Mercier products. Someone she works with uses them and swears by their foundation.

Our day here on LI was rather oppressive as well. DH actually appreciated the fact that I had turned on the ac. He's usually not bothered by the humidity but apparently yesterday got to him.

In spite of Mother Nature sounds like you had a great day!

How wonderful to get both a haircut you love and a new 'look' for the fall.

It was a busy day for me...but one of those days where I'm not sure I saw much accomplished. DH did hook up the TV for me and made the bathroom sparkle which I really did appreciate!

In my perpetual quest to try to gain any little bit of extra space in my so called "kitchen" I moved things around. Good attempt but a tiny kitchen is a tiny kitchen and that's that. I drool every time I see a home makeover that involves a kitchen redo! Of course to redo this kitchen it would involved house expansion which just isn't going to happen unless there's a Lotto ticket with my name on it!

Otto and I went out for a walk after dinner. The temperature had gone down although by the end of the walk he was panting and I was sweating from the still present humidity. It was nice to come back into the ac. I'm really hoping we have some decent time without the acs and before the heating bills start.

The rest of the evening was spend with some HGTV and TLC TV on the big screen and some menu planning for the week. The eating was pretty good and I will say I drank at least a river of water! I need to remember to post my points for the past two days. I've lost track and need to sit and figure it out.

I got the "face" products - primer, foundation and blush - and a pretty peachy lip gloss that's also a plumper that actually did plump.

I really did feel good after it was all done.
