Saying Hello

Good Morning Ladies,

Just wanted to say hello. I'm starting back over this morning. Ok let me start from the beginning. Back in 2002 i weighed 220 pounds and for 5'2 that's a lot of me. Though diet and walking and the running i lost down to 120. In the last year i have put back on 15 of those pounds. As of this morning i weigh 135.

Working out is not my problem. I love that...i run between 35-45 miles a week and lift weights three days. I just love to eat. Sweets are my biggest downfall. So as of today i'm going back on Fitday...logging all my meals and drinking atleast 100ozs of water.

Thanks for listening :)

Hello Deb,

Congratulations on the 140lb loss. That's wonderful. I love all kinds of sweets. I really try not to go anywhere near them in the grocery store.

Hi Nancy,

For my morning runs during the week it takes about an hour to 75 mins. When i do my long run on the weekend 13 miles that's about 2 to 2.5 hours.

My weight lifting only takes about 20-30 minutes.

Hi Deb,

I know what you mean..it's a daily struggle for me too. Like today when i was in the grocery store i wanted candy so bad but i bought gum instead..that was today...who knows about tomorrow...i think thats why i run so much...to off set the food..

Hi Rose,

That's wonderful that you are helping your sister to lose the weight. I wish i had someone to help me back then..it was a bad time for me..i was with my X-husband and he liked me fat so when i started losing weight it wasn't a fun time around my house. It was the whole...you must have a boyfriend thing. So i ended up having to leave..it was for the best...you should never be with someone who doesn't want the best for you. My fiance is wonderful..very supportive...drives me to all my races and it my biggest fan..so your sister is very lucky..i know she will do great with you helping her...
