The morning at work sort of dragged along and by this afternoon it got quite busy which made the afternoon pass by quickly. Even though I can't say Sunshine was of much use to either one of us it does make a difference without that 3rd person there.

I haven't been feeling quite right for most of the day. Started off the day at work with a headache which an Advil helped and then right around lunchtime I just started feeling downright icky. I felt better after having a little bit of lunch and took the medication which helped. Then midafternoon after eating my yogart I didn't feel right again. I think it's going to be an early to bed night.

DH and I had a rather unpleasant topic of conversation at dinner this evening that we will never agree on and his way of thinking just angers me. We'll just say that as much as I enjoy walking with Otto after dinner I was REALLY glad that I had a dog to walk tonight.

It was another beautiful night for an after dinner walk and a fall feeling to the evening air.

Think I'm going to go upstairs and hopefully Dh will do the dishes so I can finish up in the kitchen before it gets too late. His procrastinating with the dinner dishes gets on my nerves some nights!

Hope you've all had a good day!

It's raining again! I'll be so glad when all this is over. Went to Zumba and had a really good workout. It was higher intensity tonight, plus I could tell I'd missed last week. I talked to my instructor after class. She'd gotten the video of that guy with one leg dancing, but hadn't had a chance to see it yet. She told me she could tell I'm losing around the middle. Hurray!!! I wolfed down a chicken salad wrap before class, so that and the banana are all I've had today. I may make some soup.

Talked to Tim after class. He was doing last minute prep for his trip and big meeting tomorrow and was feeling the pressure. I am praying so hard that it goes the way he wants it to. Rob and I have been texting just now. I think he should get home between 10 and 10:30.

I struck it rich in reading material when the mail came today -- new catalogs from Chico's, Coldwater Creek, and J. Jill, a natural healing sampler, and the new issue of "More". I know what I'll be doing tonight. I did a few triceps exercises at the Y, but I'll probably still do a few things with dumb bells tonight too. Definitely need a bath and to wash my hair.

The ozone machines I ordered came today, but I can't use them in Rob's room until the animals are moved out. That's going to be an ordeal as big as those terrariums are! It will be so nice to have the smell of old smoke out of the house.

Mom has a leak in her roof with all this rain!! I know how she feels. Back when our skylight was leaking, I would panic at just the thought of rain. This stuff probably won't let up long enough for anyone to be able to fix hers for serveral days. Not good!

That's about it for me. Heading to the bath tub. Have a good night.

I think it's good that it is the 'end of the day' because my big splash is going to be to bed tonight.

Just a quick check in from me. My day with MIL was long yesterday but I was proud I drove in and out of NYC without a man! Her appointment went well but her doctor got stuck in surgury and we waited a long time before getting to see him. Her appointment was for 1 and we did not see him until 3:15. Hit the rush hour traffic coming out of the city. Got a call from my doctors office last night with my results of my blood work. Today is one week since the blood was taken, it is a good thing I was not really sick. Urine came back positive for infection, duh! Finished that antibiotic and all is well now with that. My BP has felt better and MIL took it on Saturday and it was within a normal range. Think the weeks of stress was just catching up. The nurse did say my cholesterol was like 236, which I guess is high so the doctor wants me to watch my fat intake and get moving. I just wish I had some more time to take classes like some of you ladies do. So in the meantime it morning walks for me and back onto the WW program. Well today was 9 till 6 for work and then home to vacuum and cook dinner. Kitchen is clean and well this lady is heading upstairs for bedtime. My walking partner is going to be here between 6:15 and 6:30 and I need to be up and dressed ontime. Hope you all had a wonderful day and tomorrow is even better. Hugs!

I'm sorry to hear your numbers weren't what you'd hoped they'd be. I know you work so hard. I think it must have been that darn service guy!! Bet your numbers are better this time. The work has to be very physical, so I can understand why you'd start thinking about how long you can do it, particularly without help.

I'm glad you got to chat with the woman you liked (even if her comment was uncalled for) and your sister and niece. I think it'd be neat if you sneaked a decoration in your parents' yard. :-)

Hugs,

Congratulations on driving into the city yourself! Glad your MIL's appt. went well even though it was so late. Relieved to hear the UTI is cleared up. Hope everything else gets squared away OK. It will be several weeks before I get the results of the 5 tests I had blood taken for last week. Seems like an unnecessarily long wait.

I've gotten so I keep some dumb bells under my bed and drag them out while I'm watching TV sometimes. You can get a lot in while watching even one show.
