Good Morning,
A much nicer day than yesterday weather wise. Cool refreshing breeze, bright blue sky and lots of sunshine. DS is flying back home from Florida. In fact he should have landed by now. Someone from work is supposed to be picking him up and then he has to go to work. Seems kind of odd that he wouldn't have been given the day off but then again I'm not the boss.
DH has now mentioned taking the day off on Wednesday. Seems to didn't want to ask for the day since everything was so far after the fact. Again-I don't understand the male mind-I never will!
It's my usual list of things that need to be accomplished. Bills to be paid, laundry to finish up. Bathrooms never got touched yesterday and I'll just say DD was home 2 days last week and her bathroom upstairs is disgusting. I leave her Clorox cleanups to at least get her very LONG hair picked up off the floor after blow drying it and to at least clean off the sink. But she never does it. If someone were to come into the house and have to use the bathroom they probably would prefer to use the gas station down the street! I do love it when she complains about the bathroom at her BF's apartment. Can't imagine it could be too much worse! My kitchen floor is an unsightly mess as well. But before I anything I need to head to the grocery store and then ever mindful of my priorities I'm need to get a mani/pedi. You just gotta do what you gotta do some days!
DD is making a rare solo appearance for a Sunday dinner and there's a craving for stuffed shells so I'll probably get the fixings for them. Chocolate chip cookies were mentioned as well. I might make them and just store them in the microwave. I do OK with baking them as long as they're out of sight and my fingers!
It would be a nice day for a bike ride too. So many choices, so many decisions! Not sure how long I'll be without water today too. So I guess I'll have to figure that aspect into the day too.
Well better get moving I still haven't finished my grocery list and I still need to shower while there's water!
Have a super Sunday!

Gorgeous picture, Patty! Is mid-October about the peak season for leaves or does it come earlier where you are? Wish you were here to walk on the beach with me. I know we'd have some profound conversations and lots of fun. ;-) I'm surprised anyone would tell you "with all the time you have" to do things! My gosh, with the responsibility you have with all those birds and your home, plus you had a 2nd job for a while, I would think your plate is very full. Not only that, you can't leave your work once you leave the office so that your time is your own or your family's. You're basically on call 24/7 if something goes wrong in those houses. I admire the way you manage to make exercise a priority in spite of all you have to do.
We got a little rain yesterday, mostly right after I'd taken 2 long extension cords and the electric edger out to work in the yard. I hurriedly put them back in the garage, only to notice a few minutes later that the sun was out. I heard really loud thunder in the distance, but was able to get the edging and blowing done. There's a chance for rain again today, but much less than earlier in the week.
I'm getting ready for church. Have missed several Sundays, which always makes me feel bad. So, today I feel good knowing that I will be back again. I have several weeks of offering to make up for too.I did stay up to watch "Beauty Shop" and "Catch and Release", which made getting up a little bit tough. Both were good. After church, Tim is meeting me at the house, so we can go see Dad. I hope we'll grab some lunch first. I'm taking Dad the Coast Guard cap Rob picked up for him yesterday. Think he'll be pleased.
Susan, I hope your DH gets things fixed and squared away today. I don't blame you for making the mani/pedi a priority. Enjoy your dinner with DD.
That's all the plans for here.

Good morning everyone...
Just finished the almost daily ritual of vacumming the living room carpet.

He is actually very handy it's just the way the hole got there in the first place! So now I have ceiling tiles out of the ceiling that aren't going to be able to be put back all for vertical blinds to hide something that I don't care is there or not.
Your house sounds like mine. I'm certainly not a neat freak-just pick up your stuff and put it away. I seem to constantly picking up things from one place to another because it doesn't get put away. I'm actually just thinking of taking a box and throwing everything in there and when someone is looking for something they'll have to look in the mystery box!

Good morning ladies,
It's a lovely day in the neighbourhood.
Sharlene,
Sounds like a busy day in the yard for you... It sounds like your yard and home will be all spiffed up!!! :)
