It's a beautiful day here on LI. The sky is bright blue, the temperatures are just right and absolutely no humidity. I can finally stop wringing myself out!

A great morning for a walk. I had to get up to let Otto out and figured I would just stay up and get ready to head outdoors. It was really cool to see the moon still out against the blue sky.

The list of to dos is a mile long. The front of the house looks like a disaster. I'm just thankful DS cut the weeds a/k/a the front lawn on Thursday. We had sod put down a few years ago and for whatever reasons it looked nice for a year and gradually it's just turned to disaster. I was after DH to go back to the people that put it down and see what advise they could offer but he wouldn't do it and it's just progressed from worse to worser! The areas that are landscaped are full of weeds and I haven't had time to go out and give it the attention it needs. So much to do and so little time!

I have to run to the post office to pick something up that came for DS yesterday that requires a signature. He's working so I said that I would run and get it. We have absolutely no idea what it could be. Then try to find a roast for tomorrow's birthday dinner. Home again and really need to tackle what needs to be tackled around here. Also need to get my ideas together for next week's menus and get a shopping list together.

Just the usual Saturday stuff to contend with. Better get my act together and get an early start to the day!

Hope your Saturday is a good one!

Good afternoon everyone! It sure is a beautiful sunny breezy day here, Susan. Just trying to breathe it all in while we have it.

Got up early today to take the Inten-Sati class and the only instructor who teaches it wasn't there. The sub was going to do boot camp challenge and I was in no mood to do that after getting all psyched up to do Inten-sati. I was very disappointed. And what do I do instead? Nothing...my knee is twinging and I just couldn't bear the thought of taking an unsafe step class or do the elliptical. Walking was out since my feet hurt if I walk too far and I do have a blister on the bottom of my foot from walking with DD yesterday. I give up...Next week is another start.

J-deb-sorry DH is so sick. Something must be going around. Lots of people out with the fever, sore throat, etc including my pregnant DD who teaches Kindergarten. Some of her students are out too. She was supposed to fly down to Va for a wedding today for her brother in law, but she had to cancel. She was so upset since her DH is the best man. Sorry off track there. Yes it was a good thing that DH went to the doctor and that lesion was caught. My other DD has her tonsils yet and she does get colds

Keep on keeping on!

DD's hubby still has his tonsils (late 20's) and he gets really sick when he gets a cold.

I heard it's tougher on adults to get them out.
