Good morning everyone. Deb, I hope Eric is feeling better and I'm so glad he did go to the dr. Rhonda, I was so happy to read your post about the dinner(or maybe lunch) with Tim that was "normal".

"In a world that perpetually moves faster we need all the anchors we can find.Chaos erupts spontaneously in our spinning lives. It's the center of the wheel that we need to focus on more often".

I can almost hear the agreement from everyone about a fast moving world and chaos. We can all relate to that. We need to have things in our lives that center us and help us get thru the chaos and rush of daily

Good Morning,

Another beautiful fall like day here. Cool mornings, warming up during the day and then cool evenings. Absolutely gorgeous!

A very busy but productive day for me yesterday. One of those days where I was able to move from task to task without getting distracted and got a lot of things accomplished including the kitchen floor and the upstairs bathroom which I think I distinctly heard a big sigh of relief and thanks. It had warmed up in the afternoon and that's when I decided that I would go out and tackle the unruly front yard. I spent about an hour out there taming the weeds and trimming up some of the bushes and I certainly worked up a sweat! Otto and I took a pre dinner walk since I figured once I sat down I didn't think I would want to put my sneakers on and go back out.

Today I'm hoping for a little slower pace to the day. First order of the day is to get to the grocery store. My little half hour is slotted with an appointment at the nail salon. I have a roast slated for DS birthday dinner with his favorite green beans in the mustard vinigrette and oven roasted potatoes. I'm very glad I remembered to order the Fudgy the Whale cake on Friday. Bills are calling my name and I probably should sort through the amount of paper that is cluttering the top of my computer desk before I lose track of any more bills. Never did find the one for the truck. I'm just going to have to take my chances and mail it in with just the account number on it.

Donna-you're day yesterday sounded so nice. DD in MA went apple picking yesterday too. Let us know what time you're serving up whatever apple thing you have!

J-Deb-hope Eric is feeling better soon and hope everything is OK with the lesion.

Well, better get moving. Have to get myself presentable before I head on out of here. Hope everyone has a great day.

That's the one! According to him the one and only birthday cake! When I didn't realize I had to order it last year I tried to substitue a regular Carvel cake-just didn't do it for him!
