The day was pleasant weather wise and otherwise. A few of the usual weekend tasks completed, some nice reading time, a nice walk with Otto before dinner and then a very nice Sunday dinner for DS birthday. I can't even tell you the last time he was actually here to sit and eat a meal. But everyone seemed to enjoy everything as well as Fudgie the Whale.

DH has taken over the task of the dishes and I'm retired for the evening! Can't believe it's Sunday night already! Where do these weekends go?

Hey, bring whatever remains of Fudgy - we can have it with the imaginary apple baked goodies I'm supposed to be making for some fete or other at my house.....

Hope your son enjoyed his birthday celebration.....

My DH was going through magazines too-was there something in the air? Except for the rapidly yellowing ones underneath the bedroom dresser. Those are going to crumble before they ever get moved! He told me not to get mad that they were sitting on the living room floor. I did suggest he put them in a bag so they would be ready for Thursday recycling. I got a funny look and Guess where they are? On the living room floor!

We also get a $2 charge for buying on the train. From our house to Penn Station which is about 1/2 hour ride-off peak is $6.25 without buying on the train not sure what it is on peak and they're talking about another increase. Another reason why I'm glad I'm a mile from work!

Hope all the blood work goes well!

I've never heard of a "cheese button", but I already know I'll like it.
