It's been a long day. Work wasn't as frantic today although still plenty to keep me busy but it still seemed to drag.
I am frustrated and annoyed with DH. He made a remark this morning after I told him quite politely that he needs to stop handing off what he forgets to do (like reordering medications that he has run out of that take anywhere from 3 days to 10 days to arrive) to me to take care of. I was pretty much informed that since he doesn't remember to do these things that I should take care of it since he had to "live" through my menopause years. I wasn't sure whether I needed the shovel to dig the hole or clock him over the head with it.
Anyway my soup was good tonight in spite of having a nice fall meal with a day that was more like a day in August. Air conditioner running and hot soup! I did manage enough flour for a basil garlic bread. I managed to stay with just the one piece and it was nice and crusty for dunking!
Otto and I did enjoy a nice walk after dinner and being doing some TV watching this evening.
It is time though for me to head to bed. It's been a long day and I'm tuckered out! See in the morning time-sleep well!

There is plenty of fresh soil here ... should be easy digging (and we can go very deep)!

I must comment here, not on husbands or yards but your picture in your post.
