Good morning everyone. We broke another record yesterday for high temps but today we drop down to 80. Then in a few days we drop to below normal.

- Great quote! Right now, I'm moving out of a valley of frustration. After several weeks of dealing with medical issues that kept me from working out (and missing work), I am finally well and can get back into the swing!!!
Today appears to be our last day of warm weather in CNY. I think we hit a record high on Monday. I love the warm weather. If it weren't for my dog who loves snow and cold, I'd probably hibernate the entire winter. Having her keeps me moving and outdoors a lot!

Luke is 8.
DD is headed to Pasadena. Flight out is already delayed and maybe delayed again which will make her miss her connection. I guess she'll be a seasoned traveler by the time she gets there!

I will definitely keep Luke and his family in my prayers. I am glad to hear that they were able to get the tumor out and save the kidney.
Sometimes our bodies just tell us we have to get some extra sleep. Enjoy it while you can.

Hi everyone,
I can honestly say that I'm one of those people that's really frustrated by my fitness lately.
Forgot the hiking.....in two days we got off the cruise ship...ate tons of food (and ate tons of food), rented bikes at Spoke's and biked Stanley Park all afternoon....and my quest to see Lance Armstrong at the park was unfulfilled.
Excellent question there Deb. I am still trying to figure out what is so special about that class. I give my all whenever I teach, so I don't know what could be different. They pay $20 a week extra to take these classes and they get to use 9 lb body bars that the rest of us can't use. The class is advertised to be like having a personal trainer and taking your workout up a notch. Don't know how with 10 people in the class and it is an hour class.
