I am not sure if this is the right board or not, but I have a question--other than squats and lunges, what not-so-impossibly-hard-to-do thing can I do to tone my butt? What do the rest of you do?

Good exercises Rhonda...especially the butt lift.
I like doing what I call all 4's except I do them on elbows and knees. I lift one leg at a time either bent with foot flexed or straight and lift no higher than my hip and squeeze those glutes. Hard to explain but don't do those old fashioned "hydrants".
Pilates has some great exercises too.
