Hey Nancy and everyone else........I will go next. Gosh so much to read I am not sure if my eyes will last. Sorry I have been vacant this week again........seems to be my pattern lately. My weekdays are so busy with walking in the morning (actually that is what eats up what used to be my computer time), making sure Bill and Katie get out on time, grabbing my shower, making the bed and then getting Rob and Billy out well then it is time for the office job. Working 3 full days, on the 4th day its off to the barn for Katie's riding lesson, then on Friday I try to be off but I wasn't this week. Played catch up at the old desk then dashed off to yet another riding lesson for Katie. This morning was spent sleeping in until 7:45, then meeting up with Aunt Linda for our morning walk. From there I had some water, washed up and headed out to the east end of Long Island. Katie had a morning lesson on Daniel and then we cleaned him good and reorganized her tack box and misc gear. Got home here around 1:00 to get pressured into going out to New Jersey tomorrow........did like 300 batches, ok maybe 5 batches of laundry today, cleaned both bathrooms, had a wonderful hot shower mid-afternoon and then a run to the grocery store. Boys left around 6:00 to head to New Jersey early since they will be running Rob's car, Johnny's car and John's Pro car too. They are staying over night and Katie and I will join them in the morning. Actually tomorrow is Rob's final points race of the year and of his Jr. career, he is in 4th place and well if we keep our fingers crossed just maybe he can stay in 4th place or move into 3rd giving him a jacket and a trophy. It would be his first and only in 8 years of racing. My parents are coming with us to help route him on. Katie and I had a quiet dinner of sauteed scallops, spinach pasta with marina sauce and a salad......yum. Plus I just finished some chocolate cake that I have been craving all week, don't worry it was one of those WW desserts. Well the washer and dryer just shut off so I am going to fold one more time and get another batch going, then we are heading upstairs with hopes to be asleep by 9:30, like all the old people Nancy mentioned earlier. Hope all is well with everyone, I miss you guys so much!
I sort of speeded things up today for a change. Got out early to mail a "care" pkg. to poor little Jackson who never gets anything ;-) and to return some DVD's. I had rented "Greyfriar's Bobby" and finally got Rob to watch it with me, when I realized it was a remake. No comparison! I turned it off and put in that John Cusack thriller "1408". It had some very interesting twists in it. Think I'll order the real Greyfriar's one and that way Jackson will have it too.
Really pleasant surprise last night... Phyllis and I emailed back and forth from a little before midnight until almost 1:00 AM! She is doing very well and has moved to another area due to a PROMOTION! She is going to stay another year. Her address that is in the FOF directory is still good if you'd like to communicate with her.
Rob was supposed to help me dig up much of the butterfly garden, since it's gotten too shady for some of the flowering plants and pretty overgrown in other areas. It's supposed to look overgrown, but I think the front corner is not the best place for that look. Rob stayed out until the wee hours this AM, so rather than go through the ordeal of waking him up, I dug up about 2/3 of the garden shrubs and perennials myself.
Congratulations on a very successful shopping trip! I started to try on those herringbone pants because I like them a lot, but I don't wear much brown.
Happy Anniversary to you and Peter!! May you have many more.
I'm ready to slow down a bit for the day.
