Did everyone have a strong finish to their day and their weekend? Tell us about it, please.

I started the day strong, but kind of pooped out in the middle. Got my hot tea at Panera on the way to church and picked Tim up. He was waiting out front with his cup of coffee. :-) The service was good, and I think Tim actually enjoyed it.

He chose River City Brewing Co. for brunch again, because he likes all the choices. I like the location as much as the food, because it's on the south bank of the river by downtown. Great view! Since the Jaguars were playing in town today, it was very crowded. We saw the MetLife blimp flying on town on the way there. Ran into a friend of mine from the RWCDF on the way out, so I got to introduce her to Tim.

I had a pretty strong start to finish day. Began the day with the grocery shopping, good stuff in, no excuse for not eating good things. I had to clean out the fridge to get everything in it's place. Went and had my nails done and by the time I got home drivers were pulling up ahead of schedule for delivery of the dryer. Washer and dryer whirling and twirling once again. The mountain has turned itself into more of a hill. DH decided that he would put his winter stuff in the closet. Not sure where my clothes are supposed to go. He occupies about 3/4 of the closet. Got some of my things in there but absolutely nowhere to put my sweaters. He also occupies two out of the three big drawers in the dresser. Oh for a dresser of my own! My own closet would be nice too...but not in this house. I suggested he weed out some of his older work shirts but that didn't go over too well either.

Bills are paid...I hope. I made a huge mistake with one of the college loan payments. Apparently I never hit submit with the last payment and I got one of those reminders emails...did you forget us? Hopefully all the checks are in the right envelopes and all submit buttons have been submitted.

I managed to get the house back into some semblance of order. Ran the vaccum through the house to at least get the dog hair up.

Otto and I went for a late afternoon walk. It was such a beautiful day although a bit on the windy side. But the sun felt so great!

I made a baked ziti for dinner. Not too much cheese, not too saucy, just right. Nice meal for a fall Sunday dinner. The kitchen is all cleaned up, coffee pot ready for the morning and my kitchen is officially closed. I've been so bad with after dinner eating and I need to rebreak that habit.

DD and her BF went pumpkin and apple picking. Plenty of pumpkins for lots of pies and plenty of apples for making all kinds of apple things. Applesauce might be nice.

I haven't sat down for most of the day and I'm hoping I won't be asleep by the time I do. It's been over a week since I've had any form of exercise so I hope the alarm will be heard tomorrow morning.

That's about it from my neck of the woods. Hope everyone has had a good day!

Happy to hear your new dryer is in place and drying away! I've never heard of a man who has the bulk of the closet and drawer

I wound up getting a little exercise after all. Decided to let the dogs out back by the pool, and I try to always be out there then, because

I'm sorry to hear about DS's team loss, but I understand what you're saying about the learning experience. It will make the next win that much sweeter. It was extremely sweet for me to hear that Kentucky beat LSU! ;-)

Congratulations on going international!! Big move, on top of the physical move. I don't envy having all the office stuff at your house for now, but it will be worth it eventually.
