My little brain wouldn't turn off again last night, either.

Good Morning,

Thank you for your post this morning Miss P because I do feel like I'm at the beginning of a starting line. As I was discussing with my DD over breakfast over the past few weeks, or probably more like months I've found that I'm being dragged down into a negative way of thinking. That's not the person that I am and I know that at least part of it is the negative influence that I'm living with. DH has developed a very negative way of looking at life over the past few years and it's so easy to become a product of your environment. I don't want to be that person...so I need to make an attitude adjustment. I'm not going to kid myself that there aren't going to be days that are just not going to be great days but I want to get through those days, focus on the positive and all good things in my life. If the spousal unit doesn't want to share and remain on the down side of everything and everyone then so be it.

With that in mind I also have to attend to good eating habits and exercise which always helps me with a positive outlook. Maybe I needed the past week away from exercise to refocus my thoughts. But back at the workout this morning. If it's only 30 minutes then it will be 30 minutes well spent. Unfortunately my treadmill seems to have decided it doesn't want to work again. Plugged it in and heard it beep to come on but no power. It seems like it's a cat with 9 lives but not sure how many more it has. DS said he would take a look at it but he's more or less told me that it's not worth repairing since the parts would probably cost me as much as a new treadmill. But that's definitely not in the budget at the moment-even at DS' cost. I think I'll just have to build up a new friendship with the elliptical and bike.

I have mini meatballs made for Italian Wedding Soup for dinner tonight. DD has been asking me to make that and it seems like a nice and quick dinner for a fall type of day.

Still catching up on the laundry. I have to say this new dryer frightens me just a bit. It has a wrinkle guard feature so it buzzes every few minutes. I'm used to the one short beep. This one seems really long and really LOUD! I do love the extra big drum and the light inside!

Sassy-hope that dishwasher gets fixed. It really is horrible when an appliance that we so depend on doesn't function! Sorry about the continuing sleep issues. They really do wear you down!

Nancy-hope you enjoy the manicure. DH and I used to play darts. We had a dart board in my parents' house and the kids had one. I don't think we ever really knew all the rules but it was fun. Maybe I should start using the one that's hanging down here.

Patty-can't say that I understand your dreams! But certainly is interesting!

Well better get rockin' & rollin' around here to get myself to work on time. Boss man is still on trial and in trial mode so you never know what adventure lies in wait for the day. Hoping after the week from h*** last week that it's a bit calmer!

Hope everyone has a magnificent Monday!

"The Today Show" finally did the segment on Zumba an hour later than I was told it would be. I'd been watching since 8:00, and it was on about 9:40. Beto, the originator, and Tanya with the bare midriff

Good morning talking about starting lines........my day yesterday was filled with them being at the race track. Rob went to the finals for his class but unfortunatly had a red light and he came in second place for the day. We all thought, just maybe it was going to be his day since for 8 years he had never won a race. He has been second several times but it did not happen yesterday. He did however pull into third place in the overall for the season giving him a jacket and a trophy for the year. His banquet dinner is sometime next month, his best friend Johnny got first place. It was a long and busy day yesterday running back and forth between the Jr. cars and the big car. I drove my parents there and back yesterday, something I am not used to doing. We cut out earlier then Bill and the boys putting us home around 9:30. This morning was a drag getting the entire family up and out so my walk was postponed, maybe this afternoon after work. I am at the office now, and our boss is inside going over files with one of the other sect so I grabbed a few minutes to say hello. It is chilly here and I can not get warm, for me that is unusual so I am sipping some hot green tea. Busy, big pile on my desk and I need to just work on them one at a time. Dinner is quiche with a salad for dinner, fairly simple. Should run before my phone rings or a client shows up. Hope you all have a great day today...........and night!

Today starts my renewed effort to workout in the morning. I am not naturally a morning person, so this is a constant battle. However, I have goals I want to meet and when I get home from work, it's too easy to not workout. So, got up and walked the dog with Dh, then came in and did Kathy Smith's Lift Weights to Lose Weight 2 Upper body workout. I walked to and will walk home from work. And, that's probably it for today. I'll get functional workout doing the vacuuming and laundry.

I tried a new trick - I taped a note over the digital time display on my alarm clock so I wouldn't know what time it was when I got up - it worked great, except that as the radio came on at the appointed time, the radio announcer said the time LOL. I got up anyway. I'm glad I did.

Hello, all! Again it is afternoon, but I have a good reason for not coming here sooner. I went to the gym and took 3 classes. Then I had to go to Target and get Rubbermaid storage bins to put my excessive amounts of yarn I bought on sale. I don't know how you all get on the computer before work/start of your day, but I find I have to do things around here before I go out and I am ususally doing it right up to the last minute. I think not eating breakfast has a lot to do with it. I do have a big mug of decaf tea to get my meds down under protest, but I have it on the run.

Keep on keeping on!
