Monday was pretty productive. I got up and worked out. Work was non-stop, and I left late (again). When I got home, I was pretty beat, but I did manage to play with the dog and walk her and make a delicious dinner. Then, I took a nice, long shower and vacuumed the bedroom.
One of the managers at work is leaving, and she's stirring up all kinds of turmoil before she leaves. I've heard through the grapevine that this is her modus operandi, and it is causing all kinds of unnecessary pain to my manager and me. I'm part-time (20 hrs/week), and adding work to an already-crowded day isn't helping anybody. It's especially annoying when it is being done for all the wrong reasons. Why must people be so inflexible and not listen to reason? Why do they seem to get the ear of people above them while the rational flexible people get ignored or used? I don't think I'll ever figure that one out.
I'm pretty sure I've eliminated the neck disks as the problem. Last night I put 3 powerful magnets on my right arm between the shoulder and elbow and almost immediately I could feel a difference! It doesn't even hurt as much to pick up things, so I have more strength. I didn't work out with the light dumb bells last night though. I've kept them on all day today until a little while ago and will let the dr. know tomorrow AM what a difference they make. Of course, traditional MD's think it's all a bunch of hooey. I did too until they worked for me.
Erin has a white noise machine for Jackson with numerous kinds of sounds. One of them is the surf crashing. He has that on whenever he naps or goes to bed all night. He likes the noise of the humidifier on high too. It helps mask outside sounds.
My sister swears by the Temp-r-pedic mattress she has. She got one for Dad, and he didn't like it, but then he doesn't adapt well to change. She gave it to Rob, and he liked it. A neighbor loves the Select Comfort bed that you can adjust with air. I don't know what I'd choose anymore.

All this silliness is exhausting.
