Yesterday, I put on a pair of pants I haven't been able to wear for several months. I could get them on but breathing and wearing them did not work LOL. They fit! They're still tight, but I can breathe. So, I took the plunge and tried on another pair of capris that have had the same issues - um, they fit, too! Why? I dunno. I suspect that once I stopped weighing myself and started trusting myself to eat well 90% of the time, workout, and stop worrying, things started falling into place. I have been working for months to get into these pants (or back into them), and I'm really happy they fit.
I am now more hopeful that they'll fit even better so I don't have to buy new capris or pants to take when DH and I go to the Virgin Islands in November.

Congrats...keep up the great work. It is such a great feeling to get back into clothes that didn't fit. Can't wait to have that feeling myself.
You are so right about staying off the scale and not stressing over what the darn thing says. Just make good choices most of the time and it will pay off.

Hi Judy,
Congrats on getting into those pants!!
Thanks! Yes, it really is a nice feeling :). DH and I love the Virgin Islands, and in particular, St. John's. It is where we spent our honeymoon 13 years ago. We went again for our 10th anniversary and decided not to wait that long before returning again. We've been squirreling away every bit of extra cash we could, and we had the money this year! We're going for 10 days, and I am so happy that I won't have to buy any new clothes!!! (Although I might buy a swimsuit lol).
