~*~ Which Way Wednesday ~*~

Good morning everyone! Yesterdays all day rain amounted to two drops that landed on my head about 9am. We were suppose to have downpours last night but nothing, zilch. This morning 3 drops hit me when I left CL earlier. I actually got wetter in CL because of water line that came loose.

Happiness is a direction, not a place.

Good Morning,

A dark and dreary morning this AM. It was so dark fumbling around at 5:15 this morning and when I reemerged from the basement at 6 it still seemed like it was the middle of the night even at 7AM it seemed like it should be 7PM. Maybe that explains my complete lack of energy this morning. The 30 minutes on the treadmill was a moderate paced walk but I'll give myself credit for staying on for the 30 when I felt like jumping off and jumping back into bed after 10 minutes! Household clutter is getting on nerves this morning, paintbrushes in the bathroom along with a can of paint, a box of what looks like seatbelts in the hallway and a a very large box of seats for DS'car in the living room. I hope he's planning to install them real soon! There are days when I just want to say I surrender and let everyone else deal with it.

Bad news yesterday for DD's BF. He got laid off yesterday. Although he knew it was a possibility I think we all thought that he wouldn't be one of the chosen. He did get a severance package that will carry him through December along with his company car since that's his only source of transportation. Although I think he's still in a state of shock he has a very positive attitude and is already contacting anyone and everyone he knows and that knows someone to find himself a new job. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers that new employment will come quickly.

Nothing much else new around here. Thinking of you all and hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday!

I'll send you some of our rain. We've had downpours for the last two days, and it's drizzling this morning. I've been soaked a lot this week :).

"There are many ways to reach one point, the best way is the one that gives you the most joy."

So true! I've found that my method of eating and working out is quite joyous because it works for me. (Well, maybe not joyous but much more enjoyable than following someone else's plan.)

I took today off from work; DH has a recital at 12:30 and with the way things have been going at work, I was afraid I wouldn't get out of the office to see it! So, I'm going with him. It's at a museum, so while he and the pianist warmup, I'm going to meander through the art work.

Afterwards, I'm going to treat him to lunch (which he doesn't know about yet).

Hope you get some rain!

Ahhhhh that 24 hour change of life thing is great :o)

Actually, I'm feeling crampy so I guess AF is going to just show up late.

Waiting for my gf in her little Barbie car to come pick me up.

The car just makes me feel cute to be in it!

Other than the sogginess, it sounds as though you have a really nice day planned. Also, sounds as though you are at a good place with your fitness plan.

Maybe I need to take up yoga. Your post about sleeping well sounds SO good! A neck massage sounds heavenly!

Hi ladies!

My Mini Vacation was Nice. Southern California was very dark and smoky and windy most places I went But at least I got to see my brother, SIL her Husband and 2 nephews and MIL. It was Very surreal with ashes and who knows what else (blue plastic stuff?)falling outta the sky

went to Knotts Berry Farm and it was EMPTY! I guess Because of Halloween Haunt every Night the tix sell out (40,000!) But nobody goes during the day. went on all the scary roller coasters and fit in them Ok (LOL) But a couple scary moments with DH barely being able to Lock himself into the ride!

was able to make it to HB Pier and the 70 MPH winds nearly blew me into the water;)..spent too much, drank too much but was pretty darn good on the food! went to Downtown Disney and they dont sell adult Halloween costumes anymore boohoo!Patted myself on the back for buying SF chocolate when dh bought regular

Glad to hear you had a fun and safe trip to S CA. How rare not to have to wait in long lines at the park.
