What do you do between classes when you're all sweaty? Do you hang out at the Y or go somewhere to eat or shop where it's casual and they couldn't care less that you've come from an exercise class? I am such a wreck when I finish that I usually go through a drive thru or may take a quick run through Walmart or something like that, at most.
If you didn't break a sweat today, your instructor isn't working you hard enough. ;-) I'm not a "sweater" usually, but I sure do in Zumba. Some of that may be due to changing hormones, but I think it's the workout. Everyone's clothes and hair are drenched. Christine has almost no body fat, but she still sweats. The funny thing is
It's FL-GA weekend here (The World's Biggest Outdoor Cocktail Party), so things are crazy around Jacksonville, to say the least. I have my Gator flags on my car and wore a Gator shirt to Zumba today. Must remember to wear one tomrrow. Saw a number of cars with GA flags on them at Clark's last night. I think they should be banned from there. ;-) RV City has been set up at the stadium for days. I'm afraid the weather isn't going to be too great for the game. It's been crummy all day today.
I took some ibuprofen and other stuff before taking a nap today, hoping my throat would feel better. Also, soaked in hot water with some eucalyptus oil in it. I need to get more aromatherapy oils to have on hand. Just ate some Moose Tracks
Forgot..something new for me since I always run hot...the a/c was on so high in the morning classes, I actually had to put on my velouriscious (love this new jacket it is as soft as a bunny)...jacket.
I'm going to have to adapt some of those techniques if I'm going to start going multiple times a day. Sometimes I might have to go directly to the nursing home. Poor Dad!
My bad about this morning. I read it, but for some reason it registered that you'd done Zumba this AM. Our room has AC cranking and about 9 or 10 ceiling fans, but it still feels hot after we're going. If I get a spot under a fan it does help some though. I can add "flavah", as they like to say, to some things, but can't make it too high intensity or my back/neck suffers for it. We did a move today that was like a dance version of a cross standing crunch which
Our room is cool when we first walk in too. I've brought a hoodie a couple of times for when I'm arriving there or leaving, but usually take it off when I first get there to enjoy the cool while I can. ;-) Today, I brought 2 bottled waters with me, because I run out with one.
The best part of my TGIF....as I walked into the first class of the day at the Y...I met up with a gal I haven't seen for a long long time.

When I do Jazz or Zumba in the morning and go to run errands, I usually bring a second sports bra and fitness top and change at the Y or Jazz.
