Well, I worked last night, got to bed a little after 1am, and I'm up now with DH to take the car in for its inspection...yay. It'll probably need brake work. My plan is to stay long enough to find out and then try to convince DH to leave and walk to Denny's or something to have some breakfast.

So true! I was asked to go from part-time to full-time at my job, and I was torn. I decided to go for it; we need the money, and I'd like to get some things done at the house that we've been putting off. It's a little scary, but I think it will be good.

My darling grandson showed up unexpectedly last night just before I had to leave for my gig. He is the love of my life; he has two little bottom teeth - so cute!! He's really little for his age, which is okay with me :). He's spending the afternoon and overnight with us. So excited!!!!

There is not even light yet, let alone sunshine lol. I think rain/wet/damp is the order of today. Tomorrow is supposed to be blustery, and I heard the four-letter S word in the forecast...ick.

Enjoy your voluptous body..what the heck, eh? We might as well enjoy the body we have and live our lives.

Good Morning

Not a trace of sunshine here. Just more rain! Of course this is a Saturday where I need to run to Costco. Hopefully I'll get in and out between the raindrops. Later on this morning I'm going for an eye exam. I'm trying a new place. I'm also torn between keeping the frames I have or getting new ones. I've had these for about 3 years and thinking maybe it's time for a change.

Outdoor walking was called because of rain so the treadmill was a runner up. Played around with the speed and incline.

Tons of other things to do and better get myself moving. Hope everyone has a super Saturday!

After all the change this year I should be humongous emotionally. We're still going through changes, but they're very good and productive. I decided to postpone the move back for another week. There are still unresolved issues, but I think we're having some of the most honest discussions, in person and on paper, we've ever had in all the years we've been together.

It's a dreary, drizzly day here -- another good one for a nap. My throat is scratchy but not terribly sore, but now my ears feel a little plugged. I'm going to drink some juice, take some supplements, and just take it easy. Had a terrible time getting to sleep and staying asleep. Zumba songs kept going through my head like back when I first started taking classes. I toss and turn way too much too. Tim had trouble sleeping and was up much of the night. He worked some, then decided he'd take a nap today.

We're planning to watch the FL-GA game together. He may not be here for the beginning, but that's OK. I'd go watch it some with Dad, but I don't want to give him my germs. This is one year I'm glad I don't have tickets to the game. I've been before when water was knee deep around the stadium!!! Wet jeans are not comfortable. Of course, that was before they built the new stadium, so it shouldn't be that bad, but I don't like to sit in the rain.

The plan is to go to dinner and a movie tonight, but I think the game will make it too late to go to a movie. Tim suggested going to church with me tomorrow again, which makes me very happy. Naturally, we will have to go to brunch afterwards. :-)

Enjoy your day!

I was 50 before my mom would tell me a risque joke. Now, she's the joke queen! Friends send them to her.

Thank-you so much! We can use all the prayers we can get. If this works out the way I hope, all of the pain and upheaval will have been worth it.
